„At first we were not sure about a hotel without anyone at the counter or the bar but it worked out very well. A well stacked honesty bar with seating and board games available. The in-room breakfast was rich and of good quality. For a longer stay I would appreciate some storage space so you don't have to live out of the suitcase. “

„A cheap place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. Run down and mostly broken. Add to it the most inhospitable and rude receptionist which complained about everything but found it OK to "walk" his dog for a 5am morning pee at the trash cans in the small common area backyard.“

„We had a lovely time at the Kilchoan Hotel, staying for a couple of nights whilst we explored the area. The room was spacious, clean and had comfortable beds that were very firm. The bathroom had recently been refurbished to a very high spec and the shower was excellent. The bar downstairs was welcoming, had a great selection of drinks including local whiskies. The food was great, with locally sourced produce but would love to see more seafood if it is available.“
