„We had such a nice time! It was a pre season (for the area) trip for work but everything was great! Cabins clean with every amenity we could have asked for! Comfy bed, good shower! All in a great stay! Very nice owner!“

„Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that ...

„The host was very accommodating and friendly. We made a last minute change to our itinerary and they didn't skip a beat to work with us to adjust our stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend booking at Misty Mountain Retreat!“

„A wonderful lake house with terrific indoor and outdoor amenities. Enjoyed canoeing, fishing and the fire pit after a long day of hiking in Acadia National Park. Easy trip to and from the park. Very remote and private. Highly recommend!! “

„The cottage was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, We really enjoyed and made good use of the fire pit. It was all set up and ready to light. Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay.“

„This property was conveniently close to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and other area attractions. It was perfect for the six of us with three bedrooms, six beds, two full bathrooms, and a nice kitchen and living area. There was also a deck with a grill. Really, the only downside was a lack of air conditioning, which we could have used during our August visit.“

„We decided to head up to Acadia before the crowds. We loved this location of the VRBO. It was cozy and clean. Also, it was minutes away from Bar harbor and Acadia National Park. Communication with the owner was easy and always timely. I would definitely stay here again! “

„This home is tastefully decorated in a nautical theme. It is a perfect location for various hiking trails, the national park and restaurants. The house has beautiful views of the harbor and the bedroom allows you to watch the sunrise. The house was very clean and the bed was comfortable. „The house was clean and just what we were looking for for our trip to Acadia. Walked into town for dinner & icecream which was nice. Unfortunately while we were there we noticed a gas leak in the kitchen. The host was very responsive and professional, sending a technician the next day who was able to turn off the gas. No fault of the host, but definitely took away from our overall trip having to worry about that. Otherwise property was well maintained.“
