„Where do I start? Let me start with communication with the owners and the amazing staff that they have. Everyone was very helpful answering questions before and during the trip. Absolute top notch team. The house is perfect but to focus on one thing I will go with the heated swimming pool. Private. Relaxing and what a view. I would also recommend that everyone rent the golf cart. Makes everything simple coming and going as you please. Thank you for the wonderful vacation. We will return.“

„The Rufugio del Mar was a beautiful property. We stayed in building 2 which only had 7 units. They all had their own kitchen and bedroom/s. The staff were super friendly and the pool and gardens were immaculate. I would recommend staying on the second floor if possible as the lower units can be a little dark and do absorb a bit of noise from the above units. „Everything was perfect right from the time we booked this hotel. Check in was seamless, staff is super friendly and the whole property is spotless. We had a family suite on the bottom floor and it was perfect, lots of room for our 3 young kids. There is plenty of bottled water on each floor, a good pizza shop attached to the building plus a convenience and beer store less than a minute walk up the street. „Tony was great from our initial contact to answering questions. walking distance to town and the beaches ( Florence is on the rd. to Playa Los Muertos). Good footwear is required because rds are cobblestone and the town is hilly. No need to rent a golfcart if you don't mind walking.“
