„You can spend the day canoeing on the lake or off-roading with you ATV or Jeep on the surrounding trails. Nights under the stars by the camp fire listening to nature sounds. I wanted a relaxing trip off the beaten path and this place delivered. The cabin had everything needed for my stay, right down to the boat shoes and bug spray. Host did a great job setting the place up for a truly authentic and memorable experience.“

„Cute, “work in progress” old farm house. We enjoyed our stay. The owner was extremely responsive and got back to us right away if we had any questions. The only reason I couldn’t give this a five star review is cleanliness. It seemed like maybe the bathroom had just gotten skipped over by the housekeeper? The bedrooms were fine but the bathroom had a dirty toilet and shower. Otherwise it was great.“

„Wonderful beautiful property. Gorgeous views. Everything we needed and more, very appreciated. Mostly perfectly clean - a lot of dead flies on the upstairs windowsills that freaked my daughter out a bit but easy clean up with the supplied vacuum. Some dog hair on carpets that could aggravate allergies. Otherwise perfect! Thanks for a great stay.“

„Signed up some time ago to be in Totality for the eclipse. Besides quick responses on our few questions from our host, we were able to connect with "the Slice" restaurant close by where we could view the south-west skies. Lots of friendly folks working there and in the area.“

„We stayed at this location for a long weekend that included the total solar eclipse. The location is beautiful and the cabin is perfect. We were not able to utilize the dock or really get into the woods because of the snow but still enjoyed our time. 10/10 would recommend!“

„House is quaint. Enjoyed the wood stove after sitting on the deck playing games on a beautiful autumn day. One brave soul even took the paddle board out around the nearby island to get sunset pictures. Our host was very responsive to our questions. Would stay again if ever in Northern Maine. Would be amazing in the summer!“
