Just a heads-up, the walk from the ferry can be quite long, so I’d suggest arranging for a golf cart in advance. „We had a fantastic stay at the Artila - the property was absolutely stunning, all the bedrooms were extremely spacious and the beds very comfortable. The outdoor space was also great and had a really nice pool. It’s about a 10 minute drive from the main part of isla mujeres. Jose was also extremely accommodating. “

„My husband and I have been to Isla Mujeres for about 15 years. We’ve always stayed at the same place however that place is no longer available so this was our first trip to unknown territory. „The pictures didn’t do this beautiful home justice. It felt like we’d actually booked a palace. Richie, the house manager, was super attentive and friendly. The pool was such a hit. The views were a dream. We can’t wait to stay again!“

"Leider habe ich die vorherigen Bewertungen nicht richtig geprüft. Das Hotel ist einfach nur alt und abgewohnt. Im Zimmer roch es sehr stark nach Chlor oder Putzmitteln. Der Geruch war im Bad noch viel schlimmer. So unwohl und unangenehm habe ich mich in einem Hotelzimmer noch nie gefühlt. Der Pool ist ebenso alt. Das Wasser ist einfach nur warm und wird nicht gereinigt. Das Gleiche gilt für die Außenanlagen. Dort lag immer wieder Abfall herum, der nicht entfernt wurde. Ich kann daher dieses Hotel überhaupt nicht weiterempfehlen. Einzig die unmittelbare Nähe zum Strand ist erwähnenswert."

"Hotel hat eine Traumlage, Strände sehr schön, kristallines Wasser. Einrichtung etwas veraltet, v.a. das Bad ist unpraktisch und eng. Dafür haben Zimmer eine atemberaubende Aussicht aufs offene Meer. Morgendlicher, lästiger Kampf um Liegestühle, oft zu wenig Badetücher. Buffet gut und abwechslungsreich. Service an der Bar top. Service allgemein unfreundlich."
