„Tres bel endroit, personnel attentionné et très gentil, le barman et manager Mario est toujours disponible pour repondre aux questions et organiser des tours. À quelques pas de ma plage, la nourriture est excellente, que ce soit au dejeuner au diner ou au souper. Seul petit bémol, il n’y a pas d’air climatisée dans les chambres donc un peu chaud mais il y avait tout de meme un ventilateur. “

„Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sie liegt zwar etwas entfernt vom Zentrum, ist aber genau das richtige, wenn man ausspannen und sehr gut essen möchte. Es handelt sich um ein Familien geführtes Haus, in welchem Mutter und Tochter kochen. Die Personen sind unheimlich nett und begleiten die Gäste auf Wanderungen (zum Wasserfall oder Strand). Wildlife (Tukane und Aras) kann sogar bei Glück im Garten beobachtet werden. Affen gibt es im nahegelegenen Nebelwald. Wir würden jederzeit wieder ...

„Der Pool war sehr groß und gepflegt. Das Bett war durchgelegen und das Zimmer allgemein wie üblich in Costa Rica rustical und prakmatisch ausgestattet. “

Insbesondere der Zimmerservice war toll, denn die Frau hat jedes Mal Handtuchtiere gefaltet, was unserer Tochter, die auf dem Sofa schlafen durfte, sehr gefallen hat. Leider hatte der Whirlpool kein warmes Wasser und es lief sehr langsam und schmutziges Wasser ein. Die Herd bestand nur aus einer Kochplatte. “

„Hotel Villa Drake is a lovely small family run hotel at the top of the small town. The family are very friendly and happy to help, they cooked us a fresh breakfast every morning, even when we needed it at 5:20am. They arranged tours for us and the father is also a taxi driver so took us to the airport at the end of our trip for a reasonable price. Comfort is basic overall and the owners offer the option to have lunch and dinner on site with good local food.
