„Great family accomodations for our 7 overnight family members and 2 to 3 daytime guests. The lakeside cabin is beautifully set with a great view of lake. Cabin very well supplied. We also enjoyed row boating ( there was canoe also) and fishing out on the lake and campfire around the nice firepit area outside. Owner were very accomodating and promptly responded to any questions we had.“

„This house is located on a quiet lake and we had a great time swimming, kayaking, and riding in the pontoon boat. We saw bald eagles flying over the lake in the morning. The host provided everything we needed, including life jackets, towels, and water toys. There were ample bedrooms for our two families with kids. The property manager was very helpful when we had an issue come up requiring a repair and got it fixed the same day.“

„We experienced an awesome 8 night stay at this cabin, which is quite cozy and had everything we needed. The location is superb, on the Michigamme River, and with many small, beautiful lakes within a very short drive. We fished as much as possible during the week, and host Ken was most gracious with recommendations and maps to various nearby lakes and rivers for us to try. „Roose’s Roost was the perfect cabin for our Fall trip. I wanted to see fall foliage and we didn’t even need to leave the camp for that. The yard was great size for the dogs to run around. We didn’t make it to Chris’ suggested hike to the sandy beach because of rain but maybe next year. The cabin was great, exactly what we needed. Thank you to Chris and Pam! Maybe we’ll see you next year!“

„Lots to do here on the property. Bill was great to work with. They gave us their well-stocked home for a wonderfully relaxing week. And very clean! The only possible downer for someone is if you are looking for a beach for kids to play in the sand, there really isn't one (hence the 4-star on listing accuracy). Wasn't an issue for us though. Would definitely recommend this owner and property!“
