„Wir haben in der Nähe Verwandte, die wir besucht haben. Der Aufenthalt im Elveden Inn hat uns wie beim letzten Mal sehr gut gefallen. Wir konnten bei Sonnenschein im Garten frühstücken. Das Essen sowie der Service sind ausgezeichnet. Wir konnten unsere Bordkarten dort kostenfrei drucken lassen.“

„Excellent service with genuine friendly staff. Brilliant team under leadership of manager John. Lovely room with everything you need for a comfortable stay including fresh flask of milk each day. Good menu choice in the restaurant with fresh fish and local meat all delicious. Plentiful breakfast of very high quality. Beautiful village with gorgeous walks on your doorstep packed with wildlife. “

„We stayed for just one night and had no complaints whatsoever. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and we left feeling well-rested. Bed was comfortable. I would recommend it. Although we had a shared bathroom, it was spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly functional—so it didn’t affect our stay at all. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic beer garden, overall great. “

„Tolle Unterkunft mitten im Nirgendwo um sich erholen zu können. Der Pub stammt aus dem 11.Jahrhundert und ist sehr gemütlich. Restaurant sehr gut und herzlich geführt. Zimmer eher schlicht. Einziges Manko sind die sehr weichen Betten. “

„I had made a mistake when booking the room, i booked a 'snug'. With two Golden Retrievers - a big mistake. Management were great and found us an outside room that was more suited. Loved the staff, other customers and the people in general. Felt the history.“

„Had an amazing stay! Room was fantastic! So no what we was expecting, we only booked last minute over the bank holiday weekend as we had a funeral nearby. Everything about the room was excellent, clean, modern, gorgeous shower. We ate in the pub restaurant, the food was superb. Breakfast was excellent! So much choice. The staff were so welcoming and friendly Highly recommend this place to stay or just eat and drink. Thank you!“

„Owners very helpful and pleasant. Ample parking and short walk to accommodation. Dinner was excellent both in choice and presentation and taste, Breakfast there was a lot of various choices and again cooked fresh to order. Overall an excellent venue.“

„After a long day walking arriving here was a pleasure. The staff were welcoming and although the kitchen was about to close they held off closing and served me.The room was just what was needed. Clean, and quite, and a comfortable bed. In the morning there was a very generous continental breakfast that kept me going for quite a long stretch of that day's walking without need to refuel! I would most certainly recommend this place and would definitely stay again if I was passing through.“

„My room was absolutely lovely - fan on and window open ready for me on what was a very hot day. Very clean, comfortable and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinner excellent as was the breakfast. EV charger most welcome too. “

„Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area“

"The location was great and it was perfectly located, you were at the central station in three minutes and can reach everything else within a 10 min walk. The owner was extremely nice and took care of me very well. The house is old and although you could tell they tried hard to keep the shared bathrooms clean, this wasn’t always the case. The house was fukky booked though so I appreciate the effort! I’d definitely come back! "
