"We had a great time at the queen of the loch. We had booked a twin room. Unfortunately, when we got into the room it was not arranged as a twin but the friendly staff fixed that right away. The location is great: close to the center and with shops and restaurants as well as the loch. We also really enjoyed the included breakfast (we had the full breakfast) and the atmosphere of the place which reminded me of a casual hotel in the US. The staff was always friendly and accommodating."

"Wir waren vor ein paar Jahren bereits zweimal hier und waren begeistert. Darum wollten wir wieder kommen und haben den sehr hohen Zimmerpreis in der Hochsaison bezahlt. Jetzt waren wir jedoch extrem enttäuscht. Es wurde ein Neubau angebaut. Viele Leute (ca. 200 Zimmer). Viele Kinder und Familien, die auf der Wiese spielten und sich tummelten. Ungepflegtes Familien-Restaurant auf Terrasse mit Selbstbestellung, usw.. Auch das Restaurant am See. Wie Massenhotels in den US. Es hat den alten exklusiven Charakter stark verloren. Es geht um Masse. Sehr schön sind die Zimmer und die Whiskey-Bar ist immer noch fantastisch. Das Personal ist sehr nett und kompetent. Sehr schade und absolut nicht mehr wert. Wir kommen nicht mehr und suchen andere exklusive Resorts."

"very nice place and location. beautiful view. the room itself was a bit tiny for a familiy of 3, but we enjoyed it anyway. we highly recommend the restaurant/bar downstairs: very friendly and good food."

"Nice location but rooms are a bit outdated The Spa area is rather small and the outside area (which is also very small, a sauna for 4persons max and a hot tub with 3seats) is charged separately by the hour and requires an individual booking."

"Extraordinary staff, die to a delayed flight we arrived at 22:30 and she was so extremely helpful and friendly that we felt hardly welcomed by second one! Parking lot was available, also there's good coffee and some cakes in the morning. Would definitely come back for another longer stay"

"Wir kamen zu Fuß, um einen Zwischenstopp auf unserer Wanderung (WHW) einzulegen. Die Betten sind super bequem, es gibt eine Badewanne und fußläufig Restaurants. Sehr nette Begrüßung an der Rezeption. Vor allem empfehlen wir den Imbisstand direkt neben der Brücke, wenn man auf die Tyndrum-Logde zugeht. Er heißt "Happy Haggis", dort kann man die besten Breakfast Rolls frühstücken! Der Stand hat von 7-19:30 Uhr in der Hauptsaison geöffnet, Mittagspause von 12:30-15:30 ungefähr. "
