„It was what I wanted a different experience! The set up was cool and different! Would I go again? At half the price yes! The view and property did not justify the cost. However everything was as advertised! Nothing stood out as bad!“

„The layout is pretty crazy and one of the two bathrooms has 3 doorways, one of which has no door and faces the main front area of the house including the kitchen/dining area. Truck or SUV recommend with 4x4 if it’s raining. Very remote, which I’m okay with.“

„Such a unique experience being able to stay in a Conestoga wagon and walking up to have your morning coffee with the sheep or pony! The animals are so friendly, especially if you share vegetables or the treats from the office. Elaine is wonderful and very hospitable. Highly recommend a stay and supporting their mission.“

„Great hosts“

„We had the most wonderful two-night stay at Rooterville, with the most peaceful sleep. Beds were super comfortable, waking up to the sheep grazing right outside our room was so sweet and feeding the animals while they followed us around the farm was so much fun! Turkeys who let you “hug” them, friendly pigs, sheep, cows and mini horses. Amazing experience, we will be back soon!“

„Close to the lake, farmers market on Saturday, great communication & customer service. Cute little cabin exactly as advertised.“

„Everything was awesome except there is no stove only a grill outside to cook on“
