„Perfect place, we stayed for 2 nights before checking out and cycling the shininami kaido. There were many great amenities with the property and restaurants and Lawson's are a short walk away plus the train station is an even shorter walk away. “

„Nice new Hotel in Setoda with a public bath (not Onsen) the staff was very friendly and always helpful. the rooms are very big but there’s only a shower booth in the room. Though you can use the hotels own public bath which was very nice. it’s somehow even tattoo friendly if you don’t have specific “japanese” tattoos. there are many local eateries and some stylish coffee shops nearby. rent a bike and explore the island or corss the bridge to Ehime pref. :) “

„Das Hotel hat seine besten Jahre schon hinter sich, ist aber ansonsten gut gepflegt. Sehr praktisch ist die Lage, vor allem für Radfahrer, weil direkt hinter dem Hotel die Fähre Richtung Shimanami Kaido abfährt. “

„My daughter and I traveled to Japan for two weeks and stayed here in the middle of a 70K Shimanami Bike trip. I wish so much we'd booked an additional night. Of the seven hotels/ryokans we stayed during our trip, this was heads above all the others. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious and the ryokan was quite peaceful. The staff was wonderful- helpful and attentive. If I'm ever lucky enough to return to Japan and visit this area again, I'll return to this lovely property.“
