"Very nice hotel right on the water with stunning views. Beach was nice, food in restaurants was excellent, hotel was nice and clean. Only thing I didn’t enjoy was the pool as it really wasn’t anything special for this type of hotel and in order to enjoy the snorkeling you had to leave the hotel on an organized and paid trip. I would have enjoyed being able to snorkel right from the hotel beach"

"Tolles Hotel jedoch würde ich nicht allzu hohe Erwartungen haben, wenn es um die Personalfreundlichkeit geht. Wir hatten das Problem, dass unser Flug von der Suisse gecancelt worden ist als wir versucht haben Ihnen die Situation zu erklären, dass wir eine Nacht weniger benötigen wurden wir ignoriert und wurden immer zu ebookers. Weitergeleitet, unterstützt wird in diesem Sinne gar nichts. Hauptsache Geld ein kassieren Ein grosses Gebetel sobald man in die Unterkunft ankommt. Jeder möchte ständig Trinkgeld und weicht dir nicht von der Seite, bis du ihm was gegeben hast. Grundsätzlich erwarte ich, wenn man schon in ein Hotel geht, dass man immer freundlich bedient wird. Dann gebe ich auch sehr gerne sehr viel Trinkgeld. Wenn jedoch gemerkt wird, dass man nicht ständig Trinkgeld gibt wird man nicht mehr beauftragt. Sehr schade Ausserdem hatten wir ein Zimmer das neben der Baustelle war. Dies hat uns jeden Tag unter Schlaf geraubt, als wir dies beim Empfang meldeten. Dies ist das ist nicht unsere Baustelle, da wir ein anderes Hotel gebaut. Nichts desto trotz gutes Hotel nicht schlechtes Essen. Aber kommen werde ich nicht mehr. Sehr schade nach fünf mal Steigenberger war dies das schlechteste"

"Unfreundliche Personal schon am Rezeption, Kellner,dreckige Zimmer Bettwäsche, sehr schmutzig. Unglaubliches Gestanks und das war schlechteste Urlaub in Ägypten. Kann ich nicht weiter empfehlen. In Hurgada gibt’s viel, viel bessere und schönere Hotels. Für dieses Hotel gebe ich nur ein Stern. Ich Reise über 32 Jahre nach Hurghada und solche Katastrophe hab ich noch nie erlebt."

"Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The hotel offers a beautiful view of the bay, and its location is very convenient. There are plenty of good restaurants within a 5–7 minute walk, and most tour pickup points are also within walking distance. Blue Beach is only about 5–10 minutes away on foot. The staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay, and we especially appreciated that they arranged a drop-off for us at the GoBus station in Hurghada. Cons: The room could have been cleaner, and there was an unpleasant odor at times, which seemed to be coming from the sewage system. Despite these issues, we had a pleasant experience overall. Would recommend for short stay."

"We stayed at the grand resort for a week in all inclusive. The place is absolutely magnificent with a local /oriental architecture. The gardens intertwined with the pools are so relaxing and magical looking especially at night with all the lights. It is rather refreshing to see that, as mauresque architecture is stunning. The Food: Since we had the all inclusive ‘upgraded’ we had the ability to access most restaurants which offered different type of cuisines and we were also glad to try the camel meat in a romantic dinner (around 20€ PP). However the 2 main buffet restaurants mahara and marrakech were really great offering a wide variety of foods, always fresh and delicious. The pools are very clean and well maintained. We always found a couple of lounge beds (in May) when coming at noontime, either some empty or the lifeguard would kindly put some for us. Access to the beach was easy via the resort pedestrian bridge. Staff were very lovely and helpful . Always there to assist with our needs , Chefs and servers really took care of us which felt very pleasant which made our stay very stress free. Housekeeping was spotless and made with extra care and attention to detail, thanks to Mobarak on the on the 5th floor. Overall the hotel is well maintained (new locks for ex) but one thing as the next improvement would be the pillows (in our room), but we were lazy to ask the reception for better ones. Definitely recommend this hotel, and we will for sure visit again!"
