„The Eagles Nest at the Blue Heron Resort on Diamond Lake is not for everyone but we loved it. I say not for everybody in part because you need to take a series of stairs including nearly 30 steps to reach the cabin from the parking space provided. While we (both in our 70's) didn't have a problem, others may well prefer few stairs. The cabin is also not fancy or modern and has a few quirks including a noticeable slant towards the lake. „We stayed here to fish and enjoy some downtime with my daughter and father and it was wonderful. The cottage is cozy and very well stocked with things you’d need for a stay without having to worry! It was a very quiet area and has direct access to the river, which we loved. It was great for my father who is getting older and doesn’t get around as well as he used to. „Älteres Hotel, schon etwas abgewohnt. Das vorgesehene Zimmer roch nach Zigarettenrauch, wir haben ohne Probleme ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Einfaches Fast-Food-Frühstück mit sehr viel Kunststoff-Abfall (alles Einweggeschirr). Eine Verlängerungsnacht war fast doppelt so teuer wie der Online-Preis.“
