Sitting just down the street from the famous Kemah boardwalk, your family will love this gem of a home in the heart of Kemah! With a large private pool and fire pit in the fenced backyard, a stocked kitchen for food lovers, and comfortable living and sleeping spaces, you have everything you need for relaxation and fun at the house. When you’re ready to go exploring, Cien Park and the restaurants, shops, and rides of the Kemah Boardwalk await.

Location: Kemah, Texas - less than a mile from the Kemah Boardwalk!

Private pool: The home has a heated private pool in the backyard that is 5 feet deep.

Community Amenities: Across the street from Cien Park in Kemah, which has two playgrounds, a basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court and skate park.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet policy: Up to 3 pets are welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: There is room for up to 4 cars between the garage and driveway.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

Welcome to Baybreeze Grove! Walking into the home, the first bedroom is on your left with a queen size bed, and access to the garage is on your right. The spacious living room is straight ahead and filled with natural light from large windows overlooking the pool in the backyard. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking necessities, and has a small nook with table and chairs. There’s also a formal dining room and laundry room off the kitchen.

Down the hallway are two more bedrooms and a full bathroom with tub/shower. The first bedroom has a king size bed and full over full bunk bed. The second bedroom has two queen size beds. The spacious master suite is off the living room and has a king size bed, full bathroom with soaking tub and huge closet, and french doors leading out to the pool deck.

The fully fenced backyard is an outdoor oasis for kids and pets alike with a patio surrounding the large in-ground pool, outdoor fire pit and charcoal grill. Just across the street is Cien park with two playgrounds, a full sized covered basketball court, two tennis courts and a huge skate park. When you’re ready for more fun, the Kemah Boardwalk is less than a mile away! Baybreeze Grove will quickly become your favorite home away from home.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 8 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- The homeowner's routine pool maintenance cannot be rescheduled and is required for the health and safety of our guests. They will not need to access the home but will access the yard.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

So many things wrong here. I really just realized that I got lucky before with clean, updated and kept-up properties. (Such a bummer, because this property looked really nice in the photos). It’s definitely the same house as in the photos, just FAR more beat up and not taken care of. Cannot cover the windows, things are falling off the walls, the floor is coming apart, water leaks, subpar pool, the home is majorly outdated, the garage looks like a haunted house, nasty and stained mattresses, mold inside & out, master bed frame destroyed, falling apart.I addressed the issues with the owners and was immediately disappointed with the ‘back-and-forth’ texts. You get the “I’ll try to help you, but it won’t really help you” feeling.So many broken blinds. Be prepared to hang towels over each window - it took my wife and I over an hour to hang towels over the windows.Funky and musty smell - smells of old.. It does not smell “healthy” like, at all. The cleaning chemicals add a layer of discomfort when coupled with the natural stench of the old and un-maintained home.I looked back into several of the reviews that CLEARLY states that there are maintenance issues with this house. I have to admit, I really only looked at the positive reviews, the location from NASA, the lovely photos, and the fact that it had a pool. Wow, was I blind.Advice - ALWAYS read the negative reviews closely. If you see more than one that states the exact same thing - that’s a RED FLAG, folks. Gross..

Our experience began on a negative note. The house was not clean upon our arrival. I reached out to the host, who claimed she had tried to contact me earlier to confirm my check-in time. However, I checked and found no missed messages, texts, or calls.Unfortunately, the cleaning crew was late, which forced my sisters and me to delay our planned activities for the evening as they worked throughout the house. Initially, we saw that they had put fresh sheets on the beds but returned the used bedspreads. When we inquired about this, they mentioned needing to call the manager. Eventually, they replaced the bedding. After expressing our dissatisfaction, the host refunded the cleaning fee.As the weekend went on, the neighbors called the police five times. They even called while we were in the pool. One sister parked on the curb to help another unpack groceries, and her car was less than an inch over the neighbor’s driveway, prompting another police call.It was a dreadful experience. To avoid further issues, we stayed inside. Despite our professionalism and kindness, the neighbors eventually revealed their frustration with the host for using the property as a vacation rental. They were compiling complaints for the next city meeting to advocate for regulations against vacation rentals in their area. Ironically, the neighbor who complained didn’t even live in his own home, as he was using it for his printing business.It was appalling. I have more to say, but not enough space.

We drove 5 hours to get here at their 4pm check in and got there early and wasted time until check in. Host verified with us we were going to be at the house at 4. Got there at 4 and it was still being cleaned for another hour because people checked out 5 hours prior to us. Came by the house to see itat 3 and nobody was there cleaning. It was pouring rain and we had to sit in the car for an hour for cleaning to finish. They would not offer us any type of refund.Once we got inside we were pretty disappointed that only 1 of the 4 bedrooms had a tv and it wasn’t even the master bedroom. The next day it was 30 degrees outside and we found out that the heater and the fireplace both don’t work. Called property management and they said someone was there the night before and checked and it worked.(which was a lie because we were there the time they said they came and nobody came by) they said they would call me back once they got a hold of maintenance to tell me when they would be by (they never called). Had to end up calling VRBO customer support and have them bother them to fix it which they finally did. Horrible customer service, would not rent from this property manager again. All their support is outsourced out of county so they don’t actually know anything that’s going on.

If youre looking to stay between Houston and galveston island, and be within half hour of nasa space center this place is perfect. We specifically loved the pool and jacuzzi as well as easy access to kemah boardwalk. Highly recommended

The house is very clean and conveniently located within 1 mile of the Kemah Boardwalk and Walmart Super Center. We enjoyed using the fire pit while grilling outside. Having a garage to keep both of our cars out of the rain was very beneficial! It’s about a one and a half hour drive to the Renaissance Festival too, which was one of our vacation destinations during this trip. The restaurants on the Kemah Boardwalk are fantastic!

House overall is ok but there’s multiple broken items including blinds, the bed, handles. Backyard was covered in dog poo, we didn’t bring pets so it wasn’t cleaned from people before. Socks around the pool, pool was dirty on arrival. Needs a good update. The hosts did respond very quickly and were helpful, they made sure the pool was cleaned the next day and returned the grill. The house has potential but needs some updating and cleaning.
