„The resort has the potential to be a 5 star resort. It is lacking the polish. Overall it is a beautiful resort, loved the organic garden, and the pool is very nice. Maintainance equipment was left out through out the despite work being done for the day. The main chef was amazing but his back up needs a lot more training and experience. Noticable difference in preparation of meals. Water pressure consistently low and hard to get hot water.“

„The property was gorgeous and very clean. The outdoor pool with a jungle view was breathtaking. Plenty of space and everything was very modern.
Their chef makes a delicious breakfast and everything is fresh. The assistant manager Tiffani was truly amazing she helped with everything from beginning to end. She made sure our stay for a 5 star experience. I do a lot of traveling and this was definitely in my top 5 favorite stays. Thank you to Tiffani for answering all our questions and help. I ...

„Amazing property. It was so beautiful with the courtyard with flowers and the private pool/bath and geat views. They upgraded us with no extra charge. Wish we could have stayed here longer. The price was great for a three story home away from home.“

„The direct surroundings are not very astonishing, but the Hotel itself and the rooms are squeaky clean, the beds comfortable and the terrace invites to stay for a coffee (from the coffee shop right below the hotel) or for a beer, which one can buy in the small bar onsite. Furthermore the small "boulevard" with lots of restaurants, bars and shops is nearby. We were received very friendly and provided several recommendations what to do/where to go during our stay. Given the heat of May, the small ...

„We had an amazing stay at the Rainforest Retreat. Theodocios, our assistant at the Rainforest Retreat was an excellent guide and his wife, Francelia cooked delicious breakfast and dinner that was included with our stay. She also does laundry. We stayed one night there in the Eco-Pods and the 2nd night at the Chaa Creek Lodge. Docios shuttled us back and forth and provided excellent guidance.“

„I would describe this as more of a glamping experience. The room is a large, open space with multiple beds and a kitchen, plus a separate bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no closet, shelving, or luggage rack, so you have to live out of your suitcase on the floor.
The screened-in porch with hammocks was wonderful. However, the staff was not very helpful when we asked about walking trails or how to get to Monkey Falls. We were given vague directions and did not feel particularly welcome.

„I absolutely LOVED my stay at Falling Leaves Lodge. My partner and I were blown away with the service, attentive staff, beautiful grounds, and clean room. Paula at the front desk went above and beyond for us, whether it was confirming our excursions, arranging taxis, or ordering us early breakfast, she handled it all. The groundskeepers were so kind, setting up lounge chairs and allowing us to connect to the Bluetooth speaker by the pool. The on-site restaurant had a large menu and every dish we ...

„The staff at Villa Massis made us feel like family from the second we walked in! The food and drinks were wonderful. The room was perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful! Joelle (spelling?) was extremely warm and helpful. He booked us a private tour to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. Mark was our guide and the tour was incredible! Their bartender, Gio, knew exactly how to cool us off after a hot day. Lucy always had the most beautiful smile on her face. The owner (can't remember his name) was ...

„When I arrived there was nobody there to let me in. I tried the whatsapp number and got a recording saying it was not a valid number. I was able to send a message through Expedia messaging and got a reply fairly quick. A gentleman working on the roof finally let me in and gave me a key to the room. The beds were basically a brick with springs poking me when I laid down. The walls are very thin and the road noise went on all night. Parking is along the road and very tight and limited. The second ...

„Mike was so nice and helpful, as was his wife. The place has a real charm, but just know that it’s rustic and authentic. Meaning no A/C, bugs in the rooms, beds, bathroom, etc. The property is starting to degrade but still has a special feel and vibe.
If you’re looking for a real experience this is it. If you prefer something more modern and comfortable look elsewhere.“
