„Das Hotel ist als Ausgangspunkt für eine Safari sehr gut. Schöner Pool, gutes Essen. Etwas komisch finde ich das man bei Halbpension die Getränke (auch Wasser) zum Essen selbst zaheln muss.“

„The hotel is run by two young Sri Lankans. They seem like teenagers, but they are doing a decent job. The boss didn't say "hi" or goodbye, nor smile at us. Seemed like it bothered him that we were there. Because of mold, dirty floor, no Internet and a dirty toilet we switched rooms. The other room didn't have internet either, but was ok. In both rooms we had to ask for toilet paper and a mosquito net, although the description said it's standard (like the wifi, too). Starting at 6 in the morning ...

Vores værelse havde udsigt over rismarkerne, hvor der altid var aktivitet, både af mennesker, dyr og fugle. Stedet er rustikt men med alle nødvendige faciliteter i god stand. Dejlig morgenmad, og vi kan endog anbefale stedets lokale aftensmad.“

„basic guesthouse with 5 rooms and a communal room. bed was alright and came with clean bathroom. recommended to pay extra for the air con (which didn’t seem available as an option during booking) as it was really hot when we visited and the room was stuffy after awhile. (only reason y i gave a 4 rating as i was sweating throughout the night) the staff were great though especially Dhanushka who went all out to arrange a comfortable stay for us, including getting a beer and dinner for us. he ...

„Great and huge room with amazing view over the salt lake. Beautiful smiley staff. Nice pool. Very tasty uncomlicated breakfast. Our driver was provided with 3 meals a day! Fun time watching the huge monkey family playing in the trees. They can be quite loud at times. Hambantota is a small and and easy going town. Good shopping.“
