„This was a great stay, we came in late after a long flight and just wanted a place to crash for the night before heading south. It was quiet, clean and cool: we had AC and bed was comfy: a private shower/bathroom. My host was lovely and got up early to make us HUGE breakfast before we caught the train in Colombo. He arranged our (reasonably priced) taxi to the station and gave us free fresh bananas from his yard for the ride. 10/10 for the quick stay. Thanks again“

„My highlight was meeting the owner and his wife. So knowledgeable about many things. It was a delight to talk to them and learn about the culture. This is a small hotel but it was really well kept up and very clean. The bathroom was great - a kitchen to make coffee and tea and a small breakfast if you wanted it. Not many restaurants nearby, but one that is an 8 minute walk. I chose to eat there several times (named "Coffee Boss"). Great selection of cafe drinks and a great menu of food. ...

„Das Bester an diesem Hotel (eher: Hostal) ist die ruhige Lage in Flughaffenaehe, und zwar nicht Richtung Negombo, wo sich alles staut, sondern in suedoestlicher Richtung. Das Hotel ist sehr einfach eingerichtet. Die "Kueche" ist leer - kein Glas, keine Tasse, kein Besteck. Den Abholservice vom Flughafen haben wir per e-mail 3x angemeldet - nichts geschah. Wir haben Taxi2airport bemueht fuer 5 Euro - klappte toll. -Die Zimmer sind maessig sauber. Unsere WC-Brille war komplett lose, im "Safe-Fach" ...

„Only gets one star because I can't give zero. I feel like all the other reviewers stayed at a different hotel. Think of this as more of an overpriced hostel than a hotel. Our arrival was an inconvenience to the porter watching Star Wars, he found our paperwork in silence, grabbed the TV and AirCon remotes and key from a cupboard and showed us to our room. "Wir haben hier unseren letzten Abend auf Sri Lanka verbracht. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und hat einen schönen Pool, den man auch abends noch nutzen kann. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
