Wundervoller Aufenthalt!!!

We spent 11 nights at the Royalton in October. There are some positives about the hotel but sadly the negatives outweigh them. Firstly, the positives; The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are new (more on this later) The location is beautiful Food quality in some restaurants is great (more on this later) Negatives: It’s hard to know where to begin! The property advertises 9 restaurants- this is slightly misleading. Whilst there are 9 food outlets on the site they are not all open at the same time. Evenings only 3-4 options, French, steakhouse and either Italian or Japanese. There’s a sports bar open also if you like American bar food with a game on the big screen. The pool bar is open during the day onlyand the buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch only. The other outlets (Mexican, seafood and Indian) are open perhaps 3 times a week each at lunch and the menus are not accurate. When we stayed we visited the Indian and when we asked for the menu (which is advertised online and on they app) we were told that the menu wasn’t available and we could only have what was on offer that day - 2 types of curry and rice with dry pitta. This was served like buffet food - not table service. Food quality in the French and steakhouse is very good. Elsewhere is weak - limited choices - cold and can take a very long time to arrive.
