„venue is located on a cross roads of the A49 between Ludlow and Leominster which is a fairly busy junction at many times of day & night. Also located next to a 24hour Asda service station and travel lodge which created vehicle move movements at all times of day & night. We ate in the Salway hotel each night in addition to Breakfast and found the food & service helpful and attentive and the room adequate for our needs. We had been to the hotel previously and found it suitable to our needs.“

„Lovely clean room - it is over a pub so did not expect complete quiet. Staff were helpful. Outdoor area is more for pub customers but not the end if the world. Lovely river with birds to watch.“

„Staff was very kind and helpful. The SPA part looks very nice and cosy, nicely arranged, with nice features (water jets, multiple types of sauna, indoor and outdoor pool, etc.). The hotel room was comfortable, but with some dirty spots (especially at the toilet and bathtub). The phone signal and internet connection in the area it is extremely poor, and the hotel doesn't seem to fix the problem. If I wish to return, it would be just for spending some time in the SPA area.“

„This property is well located in the centre of town with easy walking distance to the river, cafes and town sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner are very good. The only downside is that rooms are accessed by very steep circular stairs and the car park is accessed by a very tight driveway and limited parking spaces. There is a public car park behind that is easier to access, but Pay and Display during the day. We very much enjoyed our stay in this heritage pub ...

„This was a really lovely, quaint pub in a perfect rural setting. The beer garden area captured the sun all day. Breakfast was great. The entrance to use in the evening could be lit up better as it felt unsafe being alone. The cleanliness of the rooms also needs to be reviewed as it let it down. The bed was lovely and comfy with great pillows and fluffy duvet. I would stay again.“
