„The house was a perfect size for the 3 of us. My grandson enjoyed crabbing and fishing off the dock. We rented bikes nearby and went for a nice bike ride around Blackwater Refuge. Loved the sunrises and sunsets and the extremely peaceful location. We even had a little visitor. My grandson named the little kitty Hooper. “

They had a new grill to use, lots of outside equipment like bikes and kayaks to use, plenty of room inside to hang out with family, large yard was great for our dogs and the area is so quiet- we only saw a few people the whole time which was nice. Large dining table, poker table, washer and dryer, and chess table were all nice to have. Outside shower worked well. Lots of parking. „Host was communicative and available for any questions. This place was what we needed, two people and a dog that is relatively barky. The seclusion is what we were looking for and we got it. „For my wife and I this was the perfect place to forget about work, kick back and just relax for a few days with our fur baby. Quiet, private and peaceful. No luck catching any fish from the dock but I suspect my fishing skills need a bit of polishing. There are a couple of old crab traps which did catch some crabs but l released them or they escaped on their own. We did not take advantage of the kayaks but they were there for your enjoyment. „We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!“

„We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and really couldn’t ask for much more. It was clean and spacious, with all of the amenities you could need for a retreat on the bay. Easy beach access for fossil hunting. The clothes washer and dryer were on the first floor for easy access (not in a damp basement!). We would definitely stay again. „We had wonderful time at the house. Location was perfect and the pool was great hit with everyone. We rented a speedboat for 2 days which was delivered at the dock.There was plenty of space for 20 people. Plan on renting this home again. “

„This suite is stunning! The furnishings are simple, comfortable and chic. The suite is located down a beautiful, well lit gravel path in a serene location. It’s quiet, peaceful and relaxing.The owner is readily available if needed. We will definitely visit again. “

"Das Hotel kann man für eine Nacht empfehlen aber nicht für länger. Alles sehr einfach, keine Reinigung, sehr hellhörig, die Klimaanlage von drüber tropft draußen auf das Fensterbrett und nervt. Frühstück sehr einfach auch wenn dafür viel angeboten wird aber nichts gemütliches. Pappgeschirr und Plastik Besteck. Der angebotene Pool war bei 40 grad im Schatten leider nicht geöffnet Das Zimmer war am Anreisetag sehr klamm und feucht, der Fußboden nass. Nach 2 Tagen hatten wir dann die Klimaanlage endlich richtig eingestellt. Dadurch war aber auch das Bett sehr klamm, Papier was im Zimmer lag war nass Insgesamt würden wir in dieses Hotel nicht wieder gehen und auch nicht empfehlen Wir waren 5 Nächte dort und bekamen nur 1 Satz Handtücher "
