PARKPLATZ:
Wenn Sie vor Ihrer Ankunft einen reservierten / bezahlten Parkplatz benötigen, wenden Sie sich bitte an den Gastgeber. Eine Alternative ist das Parken auf der Straße entlang der McCully St. und des Ala Wai Blvd, aber beachten Sie, dass das kostenlose Parken in Waikiki schwierig ist. Am Hawaiian Monarch Hotel nebenan können Sie auch einen Parkplatz mieten.
Ansonsten verfügt Honolulu über ausgezeichnete öffentliche Verkehrsmittel (The Bus), mit denen Sie die ganze Insel erkunden können, oder den Waikiki Trolley, wenn Sie nur Waikiki erkunden möchten.
In der Unterkunft erhalten Sie kostenlose Reiseführer. Auf jeder Etage befindet sich ein Wäscheraum, für dessen Bezahlung eine Wäschekarte erforderlich ist. Beim Check-in erhalten Sie eine Wäschekarte. Im Keller des Gebäudes befindet sich eine größere Waschküche. Eine weitere Option ist der Waschsalon direkt neben dem 7-Eleven.

Sie haben Zugang zum Pool und dem Grillbereich des Aloha Royal mit Tisch und Stühlen. Es gibt zwei Snack- und Getränkeautomaten und eine Toilette in der Lobby.

Auf dem Ala Wai Boulevard gibt es einen Eingang, der für Personen zugänglich ist, die möglicherweise durch Treppen herausgefordert werden. Der McCully-Eingang hat elf Stufen.

Der Zugang zum Gebäude ist zu 100% gesichert; Es gibt einen Gebäudemanager und Sicherheitsbeauftragte vor Ort. Ein FOB-Schlüssel funktioniert für alle Eingänge und den Aufzug. Es ist ein zerbrechlicher Magnetschlüssel; Achten Sie daher darauf, es nicht zu verbiegen. Wenn der FOB-Schlüssel und der Einheitenschlüssel verloren gehen oder beschädigt sind, wird eine Wiederbeschaffungsgebühr von 150 USD erhoben.

Charming Waikiki Vintage

The hosts are a delight. For the price, this was a heck of a deal. The building feels very safe, the amenities are lovely.A few things to note, this is Waikiki. It's loud. The windows are the slat type so expect ocean breezes to blow the blinds around. We had quite a few late night wake ups due to unexpected noises.That said, if you're looking for a budget friendly apartment that is close to ALL Waikiki has to offer, this is an excellent option.

Wonderful for fams with kiddos!

The property is very welcoming, accomodating, and pretty perfect for traveling. My family and I stayed for a week and all we really needed was to buy food since we cooked most of our stay. The food trucks were very convenient also! A really nice location since its downtown and walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. It was very well supplied. I would definitely stay again! Location was a big hit for this stay. Lots to do within walking distance and free parking nearby for everything that wasn’t. Thought the street and pool noose would bother us but everyone slept like a baby. A/C in the rooms kept us cool when we needed it. We had been stationed on Oahu from 2008-2012. We discussed returning in 2021 when our oldest graduated high school; however, due to Covid, we were unable to keep this plan, and went when our youngest graduated just this May. It felt like coming home. The condo was spacious enough for the four of us to spread out, close enough that we walked most everywhere, and knowing it had an assigned parking spot made the decision to rent a car financially sound. This is such a great apartment. It has everything and is well stocked. It had Christmas decorations which made it very special. The location is perfect with walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. The private parking spot across the road is amazing. No need to look for parking. As it is in the middle of the city, do expect some noise at night.

Waikiki Condo

Our group of five adults enjoyed an amazing eight days at this condo near Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. The property manager, Loan, was very quick to respond to our calls when we lost power (due to an explosion of faulty electrical equipment across the street within minutes of our arrival), and when the spring on our door broke she sent a maintance man who responded within an hour. The lanai was a great place to sit and watch people each day, and many places to eat, shop, and enjoy were within walking distance.

Great location easy to get to and from Waikiki beach

The apartment was spacious enough for 5 of us. The apartment is a little dated but comfortable. There is a 7-eleven nearby for little things and a food truck park a block away with all types of food. Also if you go over the bridge across the canal is a small strip mall that has good eats too and of course Waikiki Beach. The Duke Paoa Kahanamoku Statue is about 11 mins walk and there are all kinds of restaurants there. The Ala Moana Center Mall is also within walking distance. We had a car that allowed us a little more flexibility. However, renting away from the airport was cheaper than at the airport. There is a Costco about 20 mins away where we did our food shopping for the week to cut down eating out costs so don't forget your membership card. The laundry was $6 for washer and dryer together. The machine is a good size so you can fit quite a bit of clothes. Folks complained about the air conditioner not working well but we found opening the windows and the lanai allowed a nice breeze to flow through and we barely used the air conditioner. Otherwise, each bedroom has an additional portable air conditioner to cool off for the evening. The parking is located in the building across the street but is included with the rental and a lifesaver for not having to find street-metered parking. The building has a pool but there is so much to do that we barely used it. We did not see an issue with cockroaches but we made sure to take out the garbage every day. Overall great stay.

Very convenient to Waikiki activities

First, Loan was amazing on communications. VERY quick responses, perfectly laid out instructions for check in and out, very accommodating. There were lots of towels (bath and beach), everything you could possibly want for the beach, and lots of supplies. It's obvious she stocks it, but also nice that she leaves "leftovers" from previous guests. Saved me having to go hunt down laundry detergent! The laundry was clean, ran by CC or an app. Parking spot very convenient. The building was an older building (built in 1971). You'll never get lost though because it's the 16-story building with a Whale mural on it! You could see signs of age, especially in the lobby and halls, although you regularly saw workers vacuuming the halls and cleaning the pool area. The main areas of our apartment were clean (the patio door was perfect). It could use a good Spring cleaning (corners, baseboards, light fixtures, blinds). Lanai was nice with a good view of the canal, but no beach view. Definitely a very busy, very loud street directly below. Nice walk along the canal, or there is a more direct street right to the beach. 10 min walk for us. Another reviewer commented on the smell of cigarette smoke. That was an issue for us too. When you first turned on the AC, it was overwhelming. We ran it for a little while with windows open, but it never went away entirely. Loan had air cleaner units, and she did get signs put up in the building for no-smoking after we left. Unfortunately, we happen to be pretty sensitive to the smell, so that part wasn't great.

Best host ever!

Loan was so gracious and amazing in her communication. Definitely felt like she went above and beyond her duties as a host. For example, we accident booked a day short and even though we couldn’t extend our stay because it was already booked she took the effort to look for accommodations outside of her place for us! The condo had all the supplies we needed, and more such as beach chairs and beach towels. The washing machine was close by, and credit card only. The only issue, and this couldn’t be helped because of the building layout, the head system was central so the vacation rental next to us (not Loans) were smokers and so every time we turn the AC, we got their second hand smoke. Not a problem, we just created a cross draft by opening up the front door and/or balcony door.

Great place to stay!

This is a great condo in the heart of Waikiki within walking distance to beaches, bars, and restaurants. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room to relax. A full kitchen was great for cooking meals and a dining area allowed us to eat as a family. The balcony was great to sit on and relax and enjoy the weather. The pool isn’t huge but was rarely ever occupied so we were able to enjoy it peacefully. Overall a great condo and I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

The property is in a good location and is exactly as the listing describes it to be. Loan is an excellent host and is great at communicating and answering questions. As others have described, the parking spot is a bit hard to find initially. However, once you find it the first time its not an issue at all.

Well stocked with necessities plus beach supplies.

Close to Waikiki Beach! Parking is close by. Recommend ear plugs for road noise. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need to cook in. Which we did. Communication was great with host.
