ELEVATOR REPLACEMENT:
From April 22, 2024, all elevators at Waikiki Banyan will undergo complete replacement. Each tower will have 1 elevator replaced at a time. During this period, there will be 3 elevators in operation instead of 4, leading to potentially longer wait times. The project is anticipated to be completed by June 2025.

DECK RENOVATION NOTICE:
The building's recreation deck, including the pool and BBQ, will be closed for renovation starting April 7th, with work expected to continue for approximately one year. Rates have already been discounted accordingly to reflect the temporary loss of these amenities. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as the building undergoes these improvements.***

• There is a coin machine on the ground floor next to the security office in Tower 2

HOW TO GET HERE:
From Honolulu Airport, it is just a 20-minute drive from your destination. Rent a car to explore or grab a taxi for around $45, depending on traffic. Look for signs on the way to the taxi area upon arrival. Enjoy your trip!

Check-in: any time after 3:00 PM
Check out: any time before or at 10:00 AM

Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we're unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you'd like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we'd suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.

HOUSEKEEPING:
Our professional housekeeping team has strict procedures and checklists to guarantee constant quality across all our properties. All linens and towels are professionally cleaned with scent-free detergent and high-temperature washing (180F). Our trained inspectors also check everything before each arrival.

The cleaning fee includes all of the services listed above and restocking for amenities after each departure. There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

LINENS & TOWELS:
You will receive one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. Beds are equipped with a fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and blankets are in the closet.

LAUNDRY ROOMS:
There are laundry rooms on each floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit. There is a coin change machine next to the lobby in Tower 2. Laundry room hours are from 8 am-10 pm daily.

TRASH ROOM:
Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor, next to the emergency exit.

Experience even greater savings! Reach out to us when planning a stay of 30 nights or more and enjoy a 10% discount on your total room fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses. The views were great. Good location to Waikiki Beach area.The location had all we needed from towels to kitchen appliances/cookware. We had an issue with the internet/TVs not working. Called the management company and they had someone come to repair it. We liked the included parking but it is very tight for larger vehicles. The elevator wait times were often long.

Just a short walk to paradise

Exactly as described, modern and comfortable, the rooms are well layed out and the view is excellent and breath taking, The apartment is located really close to wakiki beach, in an area very popular with similar holiday makers, easy access to shops, restaurants and transport links, if you want to be in the centre of the wakiki, then you could not choose a better location.

Great stay in Waikiki!

Short: Great location close to beach and many other Waikiki activities. Nice view, clean room and building, easy parking after the first time. Trash chute, recycle and laundry just outside the room. More details: Location - great location, close to Waikiki and lots of other stuff. Only a long city block from the beach and close to the canal on the other side. Corner unit had us hearing others very little. View - Nice view of water and almost get the sun hitting the water at sunset. Maybe in summer time the sun shifts for that. Cleanliness - the building and condo were very clean. Parking - parking was pretty good. Security said park anywhere on the first 5 floors, all of which have easy access to elevator. We were usually able to park on floor 2 or 3. Lower you park the faster you get back out. AC - A/C was good. Better in living room than kitchen or bedroom where the fan in the closet helped to distribute. Trash - super convenient trash chute across the hall. Recycle - I was delighted to find glass, aluminum can and plastic bottle recycle bins there as well. I’m an avid recycler and recycling on Oahu can be a little tough. Laundry - laundry room on the floor is right next door to the condo. I Was worried about sharing a wall with the laundry but it has reasonable hours and I didn’t detect any noise from the machines. Travel cooler - there is a travel cooler in the bedroom closet which was great for porting around drinks and snacks.

Overall, I would say our stay met our expectations. I have stayed at a rental in the Waikiki Banyan many, many years ago so I knew what to expect. Pros: Convenient location. Comfortable bed. I was happy/relieved to NOT see a single roach! The trash room was right across, so no long walk. It also did not smell bad and was kept clean, so that was good. Management is great to communicate with and very easy to get a hold of them. They also did extend my checkout for another 1.5 hours which was helpful. The unit contains cleaning supplies, extra trash bags, and sufficient toilet paper. I was worried we would only get one roll of toilet paper! Cons: The property is clean, however, the bathroom area smells like urine. I believe it is an accumulated smell that would need a really deep spray down to remove the smell. However, the property seems to be booked back to back so I don't think they have time to spray it down and let the chemicals do the job of removing odor. I'm not being harsh, I just know that grout can retain bad odors of urine. The shower and toilet space is very very tight. The toilet is right next to the shower. As someone who is particular about germs, I did not enjoy this part of the rental at all, especially when there are 4 of us sharing. Sofa bed is not comfortable. Overall, it is good. I think you get value for your money here. However, I would not stay again due to the bathroom smell.

We brought our daughter for move in week at school. The apartment had everything we needed. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and having a parking garage was very helpful. The room also has magnificent views. Checking in and out was a breeze. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Wikikki.

Great Location, property is as described, very comfortable with great view. Tried twice calling Midway Realty to request help, strait to voicemail with a message that discouraged phone conversation. Left messages never heard back from them. If possible I like to speak directly with property owner to share comments that could help him/her.

Condo in the heart of Honolulu

Convenient location, a couple blocks from Waikiki beach, close to diamond head and International Market Place. The unit is in the corner which is nice and right next to the laundry area. The unit was clean and had 2 boogie boards, 2 beach chairs and a couple of coolers. Condo looks better in the pictures than in real life. The images of the view seem to be photoshopped, yes there was an ocean view looking out but not they way it seemed in the listing photos. Recommendations; Communication: not available after hours!! Poor communication overall, we tried checking in early but understandably the unit wasn’t available due to cleaning. However when I contacted the agency they said we can check in 30 minutes early but the door wasn’t unlocked and when I tried contacting them they weren’t reachable so we basically weren’t able to check in until exactly check in time. I tried messaging during our stay and no one ever contacted me back . Air conditioning: there is a wall unit that is located in the living room and extremely loud. Kitchen: very small kitchen and stocked only with pepper and salt which was almost all out. No cooking oil or any other spices. Room & bathroom: The mirror closet doors were off track and about to fall down. Luckily my husband is handy and was able to fix them. The shower door doesn’t close so you have to use the outside door instead. Laundry: The description says they have laundry detergent but they had tide fabric spray. I was able to buy laundry detergent so no big deal but just be clear so someone can prepare.

Parking door key!

Parking door key needs a little more information, we figured it out after discovering locked door! But someone else came by a few seconds later and laughed and said that happen to them the day before and they let us in. Otherwise it was great!

Excellent stay

We both liked the condo as well as the location. It's only 1-2 blocks from the ocean and it's basically as in the pictures. The Banyan pool isn't very high end and there was an elevator problem, but that didn't diminish our stay at all. Parking is free, and like to point out that the condo was really clean. Thanks!
