The building's recreation deck, including the pool and BBQ, will be closed for renovation starting April 7, 2025, with work expected to continue for approximately one year. Rates have already been discounted accordingly to reflect the temporary loss of these amenities. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as the building undergoes these improvements.***

THE BUILDING:
• There is a coffee shop on the ground floor next to the elevators in Tower 1
• There is a convenience store on the ground floor next to the elevators in Tower 1
• There is a coin machine on the ground floor next to the security office in Tower 2

As of June 2025, the building's long-awaited elevator project is complete! The old elevators have been fully replaced with brand-new, state-of-the-art models, offering faster, smoother, and more reliable service.

HOW TO GET HERE:
From Honolulu Airport, it is just a 20-minute drive from your destination. Rent a car to explore or grab a taxi for around $45, depending on traffic. Look for signs on the way to the taxi area upon arrival. Enjoy your trip!

Check out: any time before or at 10:00 AM

Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we're unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you'd like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we'd suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.

HOUSEKEEPING:
Our professional housekeeping team has strict procedures and checklists to guarantee constant quality across all our properties. All linens and towels are professionally cleaned with scent-free detergent and high-temperature washing (180F). Our trained inspectors also check everything before each arrival.

The cleaning fee includes all of the services listed above and restocking for amenities after each departure. There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

LINENS & TOWELS:
You will receive one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. Beds are equipped with a fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and blankets are in the closet.

BEACH ESSENTIALS:
We've got beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella ready for you in the unit so you can enjoy some fun in the sun. If you'd like a beach mat or snorkeling gear, just let us know—we're happy to provide them upon request!

LAUNDRY ROOMS:
There are laundry rooms on each floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit. There is a coin change machine next to the lobby in Tower 2. Laundry room hours are from 8 am-10 pm daily.

TRASH ROOM:
Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor, next to the emergency exit.

3O NIGHTS OR MORE STAY:
Experience even greater savings! Reach out to us when planning a stay of 30 nights or more and enjoy a 10% discount on your total room fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses as well. Basic, worn, but clean and sufficient

You are not getting the brightly coloured condo in the pic. The condo reminded me of the feel of an old student residence that has been heavily used by travellers. Everything is cheap and worn. However, it does serve its purpose as a place to sleep, prepare for the day, and cook easy meals. It’s functional. We like to use our holiday rentals as a place to relax in the evening, and it just wasn’t a place you’d want to hang out in.

Our stay in this condo was great. This condo fit all our needs. Waikiki Banyon is the perfect place to stay, and we've stayed here for years each year visiting family in Honolulu. No surprise resort fees and parking fees. Laundry and trash on each floor. Just a block from the beach right in Waikiki and next to the zoo and aquarium. See you next year.

Being only 2 blocks from Waikiki beach was great! It was also wonderful to have the beach chairs and towels. Parking was a plus, though the garage height limited our vehicle options. Check in was a breeze and the custom lock code was very smart! My only complaint is we could've used nicer pillows.

The Midway Vacation company made the whole process effortlessly, from booking to checking out, with clear, prompt communications along the way. The condo is comfortable, clean & conveniently located in Waikiki. The free parking is a plus. The pool is nice & shallow (mostly 4ft w/the deepest at 6 ft), which is perfect for the kids. The only draw back is: it's an old building and the elevator can be very slow. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Very clean, convenient location. Lobby and hallways dated as expected but actual condo was nice and bright. Great view of the mountains. Would be great to have block out curtains on windows and the door to lanai and bathroom door both need attention (very difficult to open). Having a kitchen and parking space was great. Pool here wasn’t great but we just spent time at the beach anyway. Good for the price for Waikiki

The check in process was so easy and the communication in advance was fantastic. The view of the mountains was amazing - Always different every day. The condo was a the perfect size for a family of 4. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you need. Laundry was convenient and BBQ area made for a great outdoor dining location. Location to the beach was perfect.

Awsome view of 17th floor, extremely clean, hotel like linens and towels. Simple kitchen to meet kitchen needs! I’d totally stay there again with my family. Even if it had an ocean view we’d be gone out of condo to the beach more hours than the condo ocean view. So why pay that! Absolute great place. I’d say some certain blocks to avoid of homelessness but that not on same block of condo. Worse part was the parking spots hard to get one and hard to get in and out of spots and backing up a lot. Not use to tight parking spots. But other than that perfect place! I

Family visit

We visit family in Honolulu annually for extended periods and always stay at the Waikiki Banyon. All condos have been great and this one was too. Location is perfect in Waikiki. Can walk to all Waikiki points of interest. Free parking is a must and can get in and out easily too then go anywhere on O’ahu. We do laundry a couple of times with the washer/dryer on our floor. We use the full kitchen regularly. Already planning our winter visit and staying here.

The Banyan was in a great location and the room was clean and spacious. The kitchen renovation was done well, the linens were clean, and all the supplies were there. The bathroom tub/toilet were a bit dated but the sink area was renovated. The included parking was huge! No comment on the tv because it was never even turned on. Overall we were all pleased with the property and the reservation process. The property managers were very clear with all the details! Thank you!

Great condo!

The condo was spacious and clean the building was well kept and if ever in need of help the front office people were always there to help. The condo is close to everything beach, restaurants and entertainment. Also to abc stores for when you are running low on something.

Place is a perfect location if you plan to be out and about on Waikiki beach and down Town. You can walk to most anywhere you want to be in the Waikiki area.

Great Property

This property is in a great location!!! The room was clean and the beds comfortable. It’s always so nice to have a balcony to eat breakfast on. Added bonus was the beach chairs that we could take to the beach! Would absolutely stay here again! Also, parking comes with the room: can’t beat that!
