„Die Gastgeberin und vor allem ihre Angestellte waren sehr freundlich und ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Sie waren auch flexibel und konnten ein vegetarisches Frühstück servieren. Das Badezimmer war gewöhnungsbedürftig und man musste vorischtig sein beim Zuziehen des Duschvorhanges, um das Gestell ! nicht herunterzureißen (50er Jahre Charme), im Zimmer gab es nur wenig Platz zum Unterbringen der eigenen Sachen.“

„Great scenic location on Lake Pontchartrain, Slidell was a pleasant surprise to us out of towners, would have considered spending more time in town of we didn’t have such a packed weekend. Not too bad of a drive into New Orleans, but if using ride/share car service just know to look ahead at pricing and budget accordingly.Very spacious, great kitchen amenities and a nice pool. Sleeps 22 but do take note there are 12 beds. Bring your own soap to shower but over all very nice place and good ...

"Wir buchten zwei Nãchte. Die Handtücher wurden gewechselt, die Betten wurden aber nicht gemacht. Zum Frühstück gab es kein Trinkwasser. Dieses musste man extra kaufen. Die Zimmer sind ok, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Essensmöglickeiten in nächster Nähe zu Fuss erreichbar."
