„Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again.“

„Schönes Hotel, tolle Lage, Zimmer 10 nicht buchen, viel zu klein, 2 Koffer haben nicht Platz, heiss, keine Aussicht (Wand). Zimmerstandard passt nicht zum Hotel. Bekleidung Bedienung Abendessen (schwarze Träger-Shirts) gehören nicht zum gehobenen Ambiente. Abendessen und Frühstück gut und schön zubereitet. Insgesamt wegen zu kleinem Zimmer unbefriedigend.“

„Sehr gutes Essen! Das Restaurant und die Bar sind gemütlich. Die Zimmer sind ok und passen zum Haus. Das Haus ist ein niedliches, schön bewachsenes altes Haus leider genau an einer Haupstraße, wo sonst nichts ist. Als Ausgangspunkt für weitere Fahrten ok. Das Hotel scheint familiengeführt zu sein. Sehr nettes Personal. Die Zimmer sind leider etwas hellhörig.“

„Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning.“

„This shepherd's hut is in a very remote area. Some difficulty traversing the narrow country roads to get there. The view was lovely and the host friendly and accomodating. The bed was high and we, in our mid seventies, had to assist each other in and out each time. All in all, despite the wet, windy weather, we had a sheperd's hut experience which we could not have in Canada. I think it would have been a nice area to enjoy in warmer, more pleasant weather.“

„What a gem of a Property - absolutely perfect We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return again. You do need a car to be able to get out and about and explore the lovely area, we managed to get to Truro (Healeys Cider Farm)/Perranporth, Boscastle and Instow (perfect for our dogs, who enjoyed the run on the beach) and all within about an hour away and then you come back to a very comfortable property, at the end of your day to relax and unwind. Would certainly recommend. “
