Anna Maria 4 night stay

We enjoyed Anna Maria very much. The island is beautiful and beaches very nice. We have always gone to Captiva, so decided to give this a try. Next time hope to have the time to stay for a full week…. And would have more options for rentals. We chose this property due to its option for a 4 night stay and it’s “boutique” feel on line. The property managers were very responsive and helpful, fixed our issues (AC broke, dishwasher didn’t work, TV remotes Missing,) as quickly as possible. The cottage is nicely decorated, very clean. SMALL…. If you are coming with luggage, assume there is no place to put it in bedrooms and it’ll stay in LR space. Will say the view from this LIMEFISH unit specifically is less than holiday/ vacation feel…. ..You look out onto PUBLIX and ACE parking lot…(I wish I had known that) …... Not what I was looking for and wish I had known for the prime price we paid over February school vacation break. The private space off back entrance is less than ideal compared to the other units in this complex…you look at white plastic fence….Not at Grassy space or nice pool deck like the other units. Easy short walk to beach The beach is beautiful The pool is very nice and warm, clean We rented a boat and also did a fishing charter…. Overall had a great vacation…. But just know what you are getting….. if you are looking to feel Like you “are away…. On an island….”….. it doesn’t quite feel like that in this particular unit

I loved this place! It was so clean and felt like everything was brand new. The only thing is the rooms might be too small for those that come with big suitcases. Apart from that I loved it and would definitely stay here again. 2 min walk to the beach, Publix and cvs across the street and a lot of food options nearby. 5/5

A little bit of paradise!

What an amazing experience with my parents and my wife. We were located at the Lime Fish Villa. The beach literally was a block and a half walk away, commercial stores and restaurants were right behind us. We were centrally located on the island with a private heated pool. We were so excited and thankful for the wonderful stay.

Near the beach villa

We were happy with the villa overall and enjoyed being able to walk to nearby beach. Grocery store nearby as well. The pool was convenient to our villa and the other guests were very nice and congenial. The second day the pool water looked dirty but I think some of the sand from beach ended up in it. Our main complaint was that the second night we couldn’t get the AC to cool down to lower temperature for sleeping. After several attempts the AC would kick on for awhile but then turn off so it never got cooler. I ended up calling about 11:00 p.m. and representative was very pleasant and tried to set it through her internet, but by Midnight it still wasn’t working properly. She offered to send repairman but I declined at that hour since I wanted to get some sleep, so turned the ceiling fan on high which made it tolerable. The next day when I texted a number to inform of what happened, I received a text back apologizing and saying that there was a software update which caused the thermostat to revert back to original setting making it impossible for me to reset the temperature. I responded I would not have rented unit had Iknown that ahead of time, and I still can’t believe any management wouldn’t notify customers and offer discount or something if they still want to rent it. I was told “I understand and apologize”. However there was nothing else offered like a refund for that last night. Because of such poor management I will not stay there again. (One other small complaint was the villa was referred to as #7 but said #1 on door and being contactless checking it made it a little confusing.)

Lovely beach cottage in small resort setting

We loved this property. The condo was part of a duplex in a property that only includes 3-4 houses, and features a heated pool and a 2 block walk to the beach. The space was perfect for us - not too big and not too small. The house is super clean and updated and feels “new,” stylish and easy to care fo considering our active lifestyle. We did not feel too like we needed to be too fussy because the place is easy to clean and organize things for beach trips or other activities. We had a few very nice neighbors, and no one was noisy, but the condos are private enough that you barely notice neighbors unless they are at the pool at the same time. The management company communicates a lot and was very responsive. I love the fact that there were basically 3 check out steps - load the dishwasher, pick up where needed, and lock the door behind you - no cumbersome cleaning requirements or other “work.” All in all, it was a very nice stay that allowed us to do what we wanted to do, including having private time in each of our own rooms when we needed to rest.

Nice and very conveniently located

This place was so cute and convenient! Check in was seamless. The space was nicely decorated and felt brand new. The AC was powerful and kept the place nice and cool for us. The bathrooms were great for the 6 of us and the kitchen was great. The pool was steps from the back door and was nice and warm. It was also quiet and perfect for nighttime floats. The whole property was picturesque, from the colorful front door to the beautiful kitchen backsplash to the tropical style pool. It was only a block from the beach access and made coming and going so easy. I would’ve loved to have been more towards Bean Point but this was very close to Publix and lots of great places to eat. We ordered pizza one night from a great place around the corner and had breakfast at a great bagel place nearby too. Cleanliness— everything looked great but there must’ve been a small child who had stayed before us. The master bedroom/bathroom had tiny black handprints on the walls, smelled a little like pee and I also thought I found poop on the box spring between the mattress when I was plugging in my charger but I think it could’ve been a piece of a brownie or cookie which would make more sense. I was there with friends and did not want to cause a scene so I took some photos and cleaned it up myself. We spent quite a bit on the two nights and everything was wonderful but that one part was disappointing for the amount we paid. Things to know when staying here: The fridge takes 24 hrs to get cold. I would bring your own towels to shower with as well as beach towels n such. There are some towels included but it’s easy to go through all of them quickly. Local Recommendation: I would totally recommend renting a cabana from this place called Cabanup, which is also very close by. I was celebrating my birthday and called them and told them the street where we would be accessing the beach— they set up an amazing tent for us to use with towels, beach chairs and games, even a wifi hotspot— and at the end of the day, all you have to do is leave and they take care of the rest. 10am-4pm. It was the best money I spent for the entire trip, I would definitely recommend them if you’re going with your family or friends or coming from out of town and don’t want to worry about bringing all of your beach equipment. So easy and affordable. Overall, I liked this place and would recommend it if I had any friends or family who were looking for a nice place to stay for a few nights.

Wonderful beach vacation cottage!

We really enjoyed our vacation at this property. The property was very clean and beautifully decorated which led to a relaxing time to spend with our family. I have no complaints but I will say the instructions about checking in/using the key code on the property need be given in a little more detail. We will definitely stay here again and we would recommend it to others!

Close to beach

Road was flooded so we could not park at our villa. The maid came 30 min early to clean and didn’t seem happy because we were still there at 9:30am. This is not a good one night stay location with checkin after 4pm and check out at 10am. We had to call for the check in email to get into our villa.

Nice place!

Very nice. Nicely appointed. The only downside we saw was the lack of lighting options, but just in our opinion. Very bright LED can lights in the ceilings were the only lights and didn’t make for chill evenings, but other than that, the place was great.

Perfect Location, Beautiful villa!!

Our family really enjoyed this brand new villa. It was well stocked and super clean. The decor is beautiful and the outdoor pool area is fantastic! The beach is just across the street so we were super close and and could just walk over. Management company was very helpful as well. We will be returning to this villa! Just loved it!
