„The hotel is very centrally located and relative close to the Kenroku-en gardens, the main reason we booked this hotel. The staff is very friendly, and though quite limited in their knowledge of english, they did all their best to help us and we always ended with a solution. „Our stay at the Daibutsu Ryokan was fantastic. The ryokan is family-run and you immediately feel welcome. The rooms are beautiful and covered in tatami, you sleep comfortably on futons and the family provides you with welcome biscuits and green tea. You can also take advantage of the onsen (separate for men and women) for which you are provided towels, yukata and obi.
