„Lovely welcoming hosts, Lise was prompt and attentive. We just stayed the one night but it was a very restful and relaxing stay, very private and serene garden areas to enjoy, and all just a short walk to the Kohukohu CBD : ) Very handy to the pub and shop and just across the street from the bowls club where the locals will happily welcome you for a sneaky beverage, there’s some folks there enjoying a bowl and a beer most nights during the summer nights.“

„It was an accomodating pleasurable stay “

„We did not feel comfortable at the Taipa Beach Resort. The restaurant was okay, the food was delicious. But the room was unclean, the trashcan was full when we arrived. The carpet and the curtains looked like a map. Lots of stains so we did not want to go out without shoes or wanted to close the curtains. And last but not least we caught a cockroach. Although the staff was very nice, we cannot recommend the resort.“

„Personal war hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Ruhige Anlage. Kleine Küchenzeile. Leider gab es dort kein Frühstück, obwohl es laut Auschreibung aber die Möglichkeit gegeben wäre. “

„It’s all about the location. The accommodation itself hasn‘t seen any mayor renovation for the last two decades and it‘s really asking for it. All a bit run down. But what‘s really problematic are all the dogs running arround freely and they don’t hesitate to even come into your room if you let the door open. Besides that, they are not accompanied by anybody and do their „toilet“ on the beach and the grass in front of the accomodation. That’s not really inviting. So yeah, the location is great, ...

„Ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber war zweckdienlich (Cape Reinga). Kaitaia ist abends/Nacht nicht so save, wie der Rest von NZ. Wifi war sehr schlecht. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Haartrockner hat leider gefehlt.“
