„It’s a run down bach! The pictures look great but unfortunately the accommodation is not! Not only the garden needs to take care of. The bathroom especially the shower is moldy. The top of the fridge was super sticky. It might be a good backpacking accommodation but not the one we expected looking at the pics. We decided not to stay there and left the place. „We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. With 2 adults and 2 young children it was very snug, but the amount of space was good as a base for our adventures around the Hokianga. Sunny windows, beautiful view of the sandy north head from the window, lovely sounds of the sea at night. Very heavy rain overnight but we were high and dry, no issues. Bruce was very welcoming and was close by if we needed anything (we didn't). The sofa bed was all made up for the kids when we arrived in the evening. The ...

„We did not feel comfortable at the Taipa Beach Resort. The restaurant was okay, the food was delicious. But the room was unclean, the trashcan was full when we arrived. The carpet and the curtains looked like a map. Lots of stains so we did not want to go out without shoes or wanted to close the curtains. And last but not least we caught a cockroach. Although the staff was very nice, we cannot recommend the resort.“

„Ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber war zweckdienlich (Cape Reinga). Kaitaia ist abends/Nacht nicht so save, wie der Rest von NZ. Wifi war sehr schlecht. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Haartrockner hat leider gefehlt.“
