The Space:
The home boasts 3 large bedrooms, all with comfortable queen size beds. 2 of the bedrooms have separate air conditioning units and one has a wall heater. So, you will be comfortable no matter what the weather is like. The main bedroom has its own ensuite and there is a main bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. The dining room, lounge room and kitchen offer a great open plan entertaining area, where nobody misses out. The lounge room offers the perfect chill out area and the kitchen provides everything you need for your holiday away from home. The laundry has both a washing machine and dryer.

The neighborhood surrounding the property offers a relaxing atmosphere, please note you are now in a rural area surround by the best of Tasmanian wildlife and Flora, a lot the wildlife may want to enter the house so please keep doors always shut, and be kind to gods’ little creatures that may venture in. If you are walking, there is an abundance of walking and cycling tracks are located a short drive away.
Wingara Gully Track ( 11 minute Drive)This treasured bushland quietly and unhurriedly to observe birds, butterflies, skinks, small mammals and insects. Walk beneath stringybarks and she oaks, alongside sundew and heath, and past tree ferns to experience peace and tranquility and mother nature at her best. Keep a lookout for the distinctive cube-shaped droppings of wombats that trundle about in the area. Spring and summer reveal a myriad of pink, blue, yellow and white wildflowers. Wingara Gully is a coastal glade full of diversity and life, lovingly cared for by the local community.

Tinderbox Hills Track (8 Minute drive) Follow the ridgeline higher and higher through open bushland and watch the water view across Storm Bay and Northwest Bay get better and better. The whole of Tinderbox Peninsula contains important white gum forest – critical habitat for the threatened forty-spotted pardalote. A new access track now eliminates the need to walk up the gravel road from the end of Estuary Drive. Gravel road, several steep sections, many loose stones on track. This track provides a 3.6 km return walk.
The Peter Murrell Reserve, on the southern edge of Kingston, contains a network of tracks which are available to mountain bikers. This route basically takes you on a circuit around the park and would be a good ride option for families looking for a day out with the kids with its easy to moderate riding and with dams, bush and wildlife to explore.
There is a beach and play park only 11-minute drive from the property, at Kingston Beach. There is plenty of space for children to play or to relax in the sunshine.
The closest supermarket is Hill Street Grocers (gourmet deli) at Blackmans Bay just a 8 minute drive away. There is also a Coles and Woolworth supermarkets in Kingston just a 11 minutes’ drive. Kingston has 2 well-appointed shopping centres, although for serious shopping you may have to take the 24-minute drive into Hobart.

With Salamanca only being a 24-minute drive away, I would highly recommend going to the iconic Salamanca Markets on a Saturday morning. The weekly outdoor market held by Hobart’s waterfront offers a diverse range of nearly 300 stalls including original and hand-made Tasmanian pieces of woodwork, jewelry, fashion, glassware and ceramics, as well as the finest flavors from the food and produce stalls. Salamanca Market is open every Saturday, rain or shine, from 8.30am to 3pm. Farm Gate Market, which runs on a Sunday morning from 8.30am to1pm. The market is located on Bathurst Street, between Murray and Elizabeth streets, and offers some of Tasmania’s finest produce direct from the farmer.
