Since bedrooms were on the top floor and bathroom/living room were on the middle floor, I was a bit worried about the narrow stairwell for my dad. Other than that, the place was clean, convenient, quiet, and great for our stay in Japan. “

„House was very comfortable. Located very near to train station so very convenient. We weren't aware that the homeowners actually lived there, but they are very nice and can communicate easily via Google translate. The only issue we had was the very steep climb at the end of each day to the house. Other than that a very nicevstay.and 1st day with luggage.clumb atvthe“

„We had a wonderful stay at Pencil House over the new year period in Tokyo. The location is quiet and perfect as it is also convenient to get to anywhere with proximity to the metro station. The layout of the rooms was perfect as each of our preteens got their own space and the kitchen has everything needed in a compact space. Communication was very easy with the host and appreciated. Would consider staying again if we are back in the area “
