Der Pool ist vor Ihrer Haustür!

Viele Aktualisierungen wurden an dieser großen Villa am Pool vorgenommen. Die Küche bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten eines Zuhauses und ist komplett ausgestattet, um die Bedürfnisse Ihrer Familie zu erfüllen. Der Essbereich bietet Platz für acht Personen und befindet sich zwischen dem Wohn- und dem Küchenbereich. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen großen HD-Fernseher, viele Sitzgelegenheiten und Schieberegler Zugang zu Ihrer privaten Terrasse mit Blick auf den Pool. Die Master Suite im ersten Stock verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen HD-Fernseher und einen eigenen Schieberegler, der Zugang zu einer kleineren privaten Terrasse bietet. Dieses Schlafzimmer verfügt auch über ein kürzlich aktualisiertes Bad mit Granitwaschtisch und gefliester ebenerdiger Dusche. Oben befinden sich drei weitere Schlafzimmer. Auf der linken Seite befindet sich ein Gästezimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten, HDTV und Schieberegler zu einem privaten Deck. Das eigene Badezimmer ist mit seinem Granit-Waschtisch und der einzigartig gefliesten Badewannen- und Duschkombination ganz individuell gestaltet. Geradeaus befindet sich ein weiteres Gästezimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten, HD-Fernseher und einem eigenen Badezimmer, das mit Granitwaschtisch und einer gefliesten Kombination aus Badewanne und Dusche ausgestattet ist. Das letzte Gästezimmer verfügt über zwei Einzelbetten, HDTV und einen Schieberegler zu einem privaten Deck. In diesem Schlafzimmer befindet sich ein weiteres komplett nach Maß gestaltetes Badezimmer mit Granitwaschtisch und einer wunderschön gefliesten ebenerdigen Dusche. Die hintere Terrasse ist groß mit Platz für acht Personen und einem großen Gasgrill. Der Pool ist 20 Meter von Ihrer Terrasse entfernt! Der Strand ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Ende der Straße entfernt, wo Sie über einen Zugangsweg zum Strand den Rest des Weges zurücklegen können!

Water pours from upstairs bathroom through the light fixture in downstairs bathroom. There is mold on the ceiling of downstairs bathroom. The ceiling is saturated and very water stained. Reported. Said maintenance would come but never did. Called again later in the week. Unable to use upstairs shower

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in this lovely townhouse where we could walk out the back slider and we were only a few steps away from the pool. Short easy walk to the beach. 4 bedrooms met our needs for all 9 of us, 3 were under 12 years old. Dining room table seated all nine of us using an extra chair from the foyer. Kitchen had pretty much every cooking utensil we needed and the beverage fridge helped accommodate all the extra drinks. I always feel damp in Hilton Head condos and this trip was no different. It’s probably due to a couple rainy days, lots of showers and wet towels. The washer and dryer took a long time. Not big enough for the needs of 9 but it wouldn’t stop us from renting here again.

The unit was in a great location about three blocks from the beach. It was clean and had everything we needed. The check-in process was seamless and we received periodic texts during the week to ask if we had any questions or concerns.When we visit HHI in the future we will not hesitate to book this villa again.

Serious mold issues and not addressed by the property managers

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are easy going people and can put up with a lot. We suspected mold on the first day and told them so. They did get a dehumidifier, extremely loud one that needed emptied 5 times a day, but they denied it could be mold. We tested for mold ourselves (Tue) and it was positive (Fri). I took it in to show property management; we only had 2 days left at this point. Still, nothing done. No offer of any refund either. My wife was sick all week. We weren’t offered a different location at any time and didn't know that would even be an option. This was the first time our whole family was able to be together for vacation. Many maintenance issues in the property we could deal with, but not the mold. Food stains on the couch and it had a very dirty, musty smell as well. I am trying to be brief with only 2000 characters (20,000 not enough). This is our 3rd year staying at Palmetto Dunes, but the 1st thru the resort. It will be our last with the resort. We were not pleased with how they handled the mold problem even after we left. They offered a refund of fees (after a threat of a lawsuit) but after all we went through, this was like throwing a bone to a dog. If we could’ve gotten some fresh air by leaving the sliding door open, that would’ve helped. The one in the downstairs BR (where mold was the worst) was broken and wouldn’t open. The LR door didn’t have a screen. Our biggest disappointment, if the rest of this wasn’t enough, was how they handled the mold issue after our stay. We asked for a discount or something and we were blamed for not requesting another place to stay, again, we didn’t know that was an option...we aren’t the professionals. We then were basically ignored until we threatened a lawsuit. Still, all that was offered was a few hundred dollars of fees. It has now been over 2 months and we are just sick of dealing with it.

Sshower/tub faucet in king bedroom upstairs loose and hard to get shower head water to come out strong since some of water still coming out faucet.

The hard surface floors in the downstairs living area were very dirty as evidenced on our bare feet. Housekeeping did respond, but initially arrived with just a damp mop. At my insistence, they returned with proper cleaning equipment including a bucket and cleaning agent which rectified the situation. The carpet had seen much better days, but was tolerable. The living room loveseat cushions were very flattened, but this is an issue for the owners and not the resort.

Our only complaint was that we rented for a week but there was no toilet paper or paper towels and no cooking items like salt, pepper, etc.The home had been cleaned and trash put in cans outside but despite our calls it was not emptied for 3 days.

Another awesome stay in HHI

Super location of a great condo for families. The condo was decorated beautifully and was very comfortable. We appreciated access to some beach supplies (extra soft sided cooler and layout blankets) and also the multiple updated bathrooms. Bedrooms were nicely sized and comfortable. Only negative is there could have been a few more kitchen essentials like baking pans and more than one sauté pan and pot. Also the grill didn’t have propane when we arrived and had a long wait to get it replaced. A little annoying way to start the trip when we were trying to make dinner, but Palmetto Dunes eventually took care of it. Highly recommend!

It's not pictured here, but the kitxhen was enturely redone and is very modern, pretty, and well equipped, creating a very open and inviting space. The bedrooms are very nicely sized. While Palmetto Dunes property is absolutely massive and can be challenging to navigate, I found customer service to be very responsive and supportive.

Reviewer Comments: This rental is in a very continent location near the pool and a short walk to the beach, which was nice. However, The rental was not fully cleaned when we arrived. There was mouse poop on the counter and the dishes in the kitchen that were put away were dirty. The air conditioning in the upstairs was malfunctioning; by the end of our stay the temperature in the upstairs was 80 degrees, which made sleeping difficult, despite the thermostat being set to 72 when we arrived (we did not adjust further as we were warned it may cause the unit to freeze). Overall, our stay was good - enjoyed the beach and restaurants. However, the unit AC and the cleanliness did not meet our expectations.

Great unit

This unit was perfect and very quiet. The access to everything was our favorite. Each room had its own bathroom (odd showers in two of them but that was the only thing we didn’t love) It was a great property and we will go back again!

Best vacation place ever!! The best I've had in a long time!! Can't wait to come back.

Best vacation ever can’t wait to come back!! Me and the family enjoyed every minute of it So much the hospitality from the staff at condos. The room was neat, I had my own disinfectant system so that wasn’t a problem either we love it can’t wait to come back!!!

Nice Beach House, Excellent Location

The house was very nice and accommodated our family very well. The bedrooms and their bathrooms have all been updated and were very enjoyable. Our family did not have a similar experience to some of the other reviews and found the house to be clean and orderly upon our arrival. The pool (which is shared with a number of other homes) was also clean and enjoyable. The kitchen leaves more to be desired in terms of space and appliances but was more than satisfactory and accommodated multiple family meals. The outside area also has a an odd sap like covering over the back patio flooring making it sticky which negated us from spending much time there. Palmetto Dunes is beautiful and the home offers numerous beach access points that only Palmetto Dunes residents can access - a huge plus because even in peak season the beach was not slammed like other public ones on Hilton Head. BE WARNED - this booking only comes with one car pass and you will be charged $30 per car after the first car which I did not read anywhere in the rental agreement through VRBO or through palmetto dunes; not a fun surprise at check in. All in all, a very nice home that made for a very enjoyable family beach trip.

This wasn’t what we expected at all. The house was dirty, floor filthy. The tile was sticky dirty.

So so disappointed pool dirty, not clear. Floors and linens dirty. Could not recommend
