„Amazing location for Volcano National Park. We loved this house but we were hardly there! We booked two nights but explored on our road trip there so much that we got there late. Then the next day we hiked 8 miles in The park. It was great to come back to that hot tub. The house is gorgeous and worked great for our family of four adults. Wish we had more time here. So peaceful!“

„Truly different experience especially for people who come from a city. We came home early every day so we can shower in the “jungle” watching the rain and hearing frogs. The apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay. The yard is beautiful with flowers and decorations. It definitely will make you feel like living in a rainforest. „We felt at home right away in this cozy, tastefully furnished and quiet log cabin. We really enjoyed the hot tub, the fire place and the birds singing in the forest. The location is perfect for visiting the volcano park even at night. Knowing about the cameras beforehand was very helpful.“

„We loved the wood stove the landscaping and the quiet relaxing environment. The house was lovely and well thought out. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean and comfortable. My only negative is the appliances seem over worked and loud and could use an upgrade. I understand the need for cameras but the one facing the back door seemed to take in the hot tub and it felt a bit intrusive. Other than that we loved our short stay. Thank you.“

„The house, which my children called the Treehouse, was absolutely beautiful. We loved listening to all the birds and frogs in the jungle surrounding. The house was exquisitely decorated inside and out. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was immaculately clean. Host was great to work with and very responsive. „Beautiful setting, very clean, a few uninvited guests but no worries, all good. Small refrigerator holds a few days worth of poke, side dishes and drinks. Late last night, wild pigs were at the front doorway and got into the trashcan. Nothing to be alarmed about as long as your mindful of their damagous behavior. Mahalo Jessica!“

„The bungalow was quaint and lovely. Loved hearing the doves, frogs, roosters. There were bugs but that’s expected in this area. No A/C but with the fans and closing the curtains while we were gone during the day it kept the place cooler. They also provide extra fans if needed. The tap water tastes good. The lanai is very nice, the table inside is great too. For a couple or small family who intends to explore…this is a great place.“

„I cannot say enough about this place! Dawn thought of everything to make this stay wonferful. Gorgeous location in the jungle and a beautiful cabin! Perfect if you want to explore the area and feel close to nature, but dont quite want to do the whole camping thing. My only complaint is that we didnt stay longer! :)“

„A nice calm, quiet location (except for the neighbour's constantly barking dog) with a great ocean view. Contact with the owners was minimal and only electronic. Unfortunately there were a couple issues that were not shared with us when we arrived...missing keys and a stove that didn't work and at the best was dangerous to use.“

„We arrived after sundown and were greeted with a blanket of stars over the property. Our cottage was beautiful and the sounds of nature made falling asleep incredibly easy. We woke up to an incredible view and the sounds of the farm to start our day right. Then we had some of the homegrown coffee and couldn't be happier we got to stay here.“

„Our stay at the small rustic farmhouse was peaceful and very pleasant. There is an ocean view from the back deck and even colored clouds and rainbows. We met some goats that lived next door and some neighbors walking their horses up the road. The songs of the birds, frogs and roosters was a delight during the evening and daytime. We bought some fresh eggs from the hosts that was so convenient and yummy. The bed is so comfy, and the location is a great central point to start from for adventuring ...
