„Great location close to centre. Could park for free outside property which was a real plus. Love the way place is decorated. Very comfortable large room, good bathroom and kitchen area. We had ground floor Maddox room and we found there was very little noise from Asda/outside. The only noise is the creaking floorboards from the upstairs room but then it is a very old building was part of the quirkiness of the place. „Really enjoyed my stay here. I normally stay in modern hotels so this was a change for me. The town is lovely with narrow streets and old buildings so took a while to find the car park to the rear but that’s on me. From check in to check out though everything was an absolute pleasure. The young lady on the desk checked me in promptly and actually showed me to my room instead of just passing a key and having to try and find it in this quaint old building.
