„We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and perfect for us and 2 kids. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and caught a few trout. We enjoyed playing games at night and built a bon fire. The location was perfect. We were able to visit some nearby waterfalls and drove south to Tallulah falls and Clayton Georgia for a day as well!“

„The phots and description does not do this place justice. It was well stocked and very clean. It is a simple cabin that has been created to allow for total relaxation. Has a lovely firepit with chairs to relax qnd enjoy the mountain view. Even if it rains the chairs on the porch make it perfect to curl up and listen. Our 1 year old pup absolutely loved being able to run and play and chase down her ball or Frisby.“

„The cabin was spotless and was decorated nicely with an original theme related to Honeybees. The area was in a peaceful neighborhood and the new back porch addition was a plus for the house. We spent lots of time sitting and looking at the great view. The owners put a lot of thought into making this cabin (inside and out) a peaceful retreat for us.“

„I was looking for a cabin that had big, open views where, after sightseeing, shopping, etc., I could spend the rest of the afternoon and evening on the porch. This was the perfect spot! The cabin is at the top of a hill overlooking the valley (don't forget the binoculars). Even so, there are homes all along the road up to the cabin, so while it was very private, it didn't feel isolated. „For winter, we had some good weather. Still too cold to hang out on the outside porch which is the best place to hang. I don't know if it's a good idea, but I would suggest an outdoor heater that way you could hang out on the outside porch more in the winter. One of the outdoor path lights was out so I recommend fixing that. But those are both just being picky. Overall the place is a great value and well maintained. And the mountain air is so clean and the water falls are so close.“

„Really great little cabin in the Lake Toxaway area! Kids loved the hot tub and ping pong table and the owner also provided firewood from the shed during our stay for the outdoor fire pit. Great communication from the owner and the nearby hiking at DuPont, Pisgah, and Gorges can’t be beat! Really good restaurant (Grand Olde Station) right below the property too so can walk to a great meal or drinks. Would definitely recommend!“

„My family of 5 (mom, dad, two young boys and our fur baby) came to stay for 5 nights. The cabin was easy to find and very clean when we arrived. The only issue we had was that there was one AC unit in the dining room for the whole house. Since it is summer, it was warm in the bedrooms. We used the fans provided to move air but be aware that it was still warm to sleep at night and not cool enough to open doors and windows. This is why we gave it a 4 star rating. „Overall the house was what we were looking for, a cozy place to stay in walking proximity to Main Street. I would have liked if there had been extra blankets in the living room and extra bath towels in the front bathroom. The house was definitely clean, but when we arrived we found a dead mouse in the kitchen/dining area. We took care of it and had no issues the rest of our stay.“
