„We really enjoyed our stay. The location in reference to downtown was great. You are about 3 miles from downtown Highlands. The cottage was clean and well equipped for us. If you’re lucky, you may see wildlife like we did. A deer showed up one early evening and we were visited by 2 rabbits just about every day late afternoon. „What a great spot on the lake! We- and our two dogs- were in town while working on a construction project and this was the perfect spot for us. We all loved jumping in the lake at the end of our warm and dusty days- catching the sunset from the dock and the porch- and then waking up to the most glorious lake mornings. Clean,comfortable and convenient- and well-priced for the offering. Very easy communication with the owner. The dock must offer the absolute best view of the July 4th fireworks!“

„The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in.
