„We loved staying at the Hersie House. The home is extremely well equipped with all the essentials and a few nice extras that we didn’t expect, such as coffee and creamer and spices in the kitchen. The decor was charming. We enjoyed looking at the pictures of the renovation and reading about the history of the place. The heated bathroom floor was a touch of heaven! We will be back!!“

„Our stay was April 21-25. We wanted a nature based vacation in the blue ridge mountains. This cabin is perfect. There are many hiking trails close by. We focused on the Appalachian Trail. Access to the trail is only 15 minutes drive to the Dick's Creek Gap trailhead. This provided for an unlimited day of hiking (or multiple days if you are in to backpacking). „Wonderful property, nice house, great amenities, and spacious common areas. The property was not cleaned very well prior to our arrival which is why i didn't give it a full 5 stars. Since the propeety is on the older side, it would benefit from having a thorough, professional cleaning(inside and outside the property). For us to have been on vacation, we had to clean before enjoyment of most of the areas. The owner was nice and came out for any issues we had. It was definitely appreciated ...
