Enter through the porch, where you can hang coats and leave muddy boots after an all-day walk, and head into the spacious garden room, the hub of the home. This appealing space has comfortable seating on which to relax with a good book and a cup of coffee and is a wonderful place in which to gaze at the views across meadows (filled with flowers in early summer) to the fells of Allendale. At night time, watch the stars come out in the impressively dark sky above – an unforgettable experience. From here, step into the lounge/diner, a spacious room with plenty of cosy seating, a Smart TV and DVD player. With books and games on the shelves, including a chess set, there is plenty to keep you entertained, and a large dining table for leisurely meals. There’s also a desk where, if necessary, you could catch up with some work. The compact kitchen offers everything necessary for whipping up tasty meals, including a microwave and a dishwasher. The shower room leads off the conservatory and, completing this single-storey retreat, is the generously sized bedroom, where there’s a king-size bed and a single, plus ample clothes storage and a reading/dressing table.
