"We didn’t even get to stay in the hotel waited 30minutes outside for them to tell us the people before damaged the property so we could not stay so they left a 18year old and 17 year old with no where to stay 3hours away from home so not the best visit if I say so myself and will not be going back "

"We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. "A very relaxing holiday in this comfortable accommodation with great lakeside views and a wide variety of bird life. There are 5 pubs in Barton, some with good food and ales only 15 minute walk away. Sunday lunch in the newly renovated George Inn was particularly tasty and good value. Walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds , a trip to Cleethorpes 30 minutes drive away, and a quick bus caught just down the road took us to Hull in 30 minutes for a day round the old town and marina. Highly recommended...

"This was a lovely cottage for our Christmas break, perfect for 2 adults and a dog. Maintained to a high standard and catered for all our needs. We'd like to return in Spring/Summer to further explore the area. Owners were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. The food is also very good and the breakfast is excellent. We always enjoy our stay. The room is fairly standard with a king size bed but comfortable.
