„A lovely hotel ideally located a few minutes walk from the train station and central for shops. Hotel was clean, in good condition and staff were friendly. Rooms spacious and food was excellent. Breakfast is a white linen table cloth affair and gives a really lovely start to the day. “

„The hotel in general was great - the room was extremely spacious, clean, and well maintained. Check in was really easy and quick, with the receptionist being polite, friendly, and informative. It was noted when we got into the room, that there was no safe facility available. Luckily we weren't travelling with any large amount of cash or valuables, but it would have been nice to know that our car keys could have been locked away while we were in the city and not using the car. „A beautiful, peaceful stay! So much space and goregous natural light streaming through sash windiws in the morning. The rooms are in an historic, listed building, so there are quirks and without the radiators it can be chilly, so if staying in the winter months consider bringing a cosy dressing gown to wrap up in, especially after a relaxing soak in the huge bathtub. The coffee machine and chocolates were a wonderful treat. As was waking up right in the city centre. “

„Eine nette kleine Pension, aus der der Betreiber das Bestmögliche herausholt. Da es eine Tür gibt, die nur mit Transponder geöffnet werden kann, muss für den Check-In erst einmal angerufen werden. Ein freundlicher Herr kümmert sich dann um alles. Die Unterkunft war nicht barrierefrei, unser Zimmer nur über eine Treppe erreichbar. „Einfach und bereits etwas älter, aber gut und vor allem alle sehr freundlich. Würde wieder hierher kommen. Frühstück kann man sich in einem Pausenraum selbst machen, muss im Anschluss daran aber auch selber abspülen. Sonst alles soweit i.O. Direkt im Haus ist ein COOP wenn man noch andere Dinge selbst einkaufen und in der vorhandenen allgemein Küche zubereiten möchte.“

„The hotel is not exactly new but it is fine for the prices charged. The staff members were excellent, being centrally located, the hotel is easily accessible from any part of town and ideal for people visiting the nearby universities like the Leicester university. Overall, the place is good and value for money and the management is keen on refurbishing it.“
