The bed was VERY comfortable. The room was much bigger than I expected. For the price I would stay here again.. Incredible value. The chap who booked me in.. Young lad.. very pleasant and polite. „Von aussen ganz nett, innen sieht man das Alter des Gebäude. Das ganze Hotel ist mit roten Plüschteppichen ausgelegt - diese machen alles etwas schummerig und der Geruch ist eher unangenehm. Der Empfang ist sehr hilfreich und immer vor Ort. Essen oder Trinken kann man nur in den nahegelegenen Restaurants und Bars.“

„The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!“

„Was a surprisingly pleasant stay at this hotel, i was worried after reading some of the reviews but it was actually a nice hotel, the bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean and smelled fresh, some areas of cleaning had been missed but it wasn't a problem for us. The decor was so interesting and was nice to stay in a hotel with a bit of personality. “

„NON HA IL PARCHEGGIO IN LOCO COME DESCRITTO , E’ UN MULTIPIANO CONVENZIONATO MA LONTANO (CON VALIGE AL SEGUITO MOLTO SCOMODO). Hanno un parcheggio privato multipiano alle spalle molto comodo ma non convenzionato. Insomma se non fosse stato per la descrizione errata del parcheggio in loco, a parita’ di prezzo avrei scelto un albergo piu blasonato tipo hilton metropol. Per il resto devo dire che e’ sopra la media degli altri premier inn visitati da me. Aveva anche una guardia notturna al piano ...

„This property is in disrepair and is not being maintained. One part of the floor is sinking and propped by loose boards. There is an overall smell of mildew/mold throughout the place, and most of the surfaces need a good cleaning. In the bathroom the shower tap is rigged so that you cannot increase the temperature past a moderate level, and the shower door is falling off the frame. I also came across many spiders. “

„It’s our second time staying at the Doubletree in Brighton. Whilst our room was great, large, and had a huge bed, it did unfortunately stink of stale cigarettes. I don’t think the room should have been assigned to guests unless it had been aired for a few days. In saying that, I know that this hotel is usually perfection so wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Breakfast was amazing and in a beautiful room too.“

„Very nice and affordable option in Brighton, worth staying here if you are on a budget. Pros: friendly stuff, sea view, restaurants and bars just a few steps away, clean. Contras: no sound isolation, I could hear everything from the next room, old furniture, no hair dryer, no shampoo or shower gel. “
