„I booked this house for a girls weekend to celebrate my little sister getting married. Overall we had a good experience here and would book again. The home was overall clean other than needing a little bit of pest control (large black ants and a singular palmetto bug, nothing crazy). The dock was really nice but the ladder on it was not in good shape so we weren’t comfortable using it. „Plenty of space for our family of 4 and 2 dogs to fully enjoy our long stay. The beds are comfortable. Very spacious ensuite with a large closet & laundry room. Lots of places to sit, relax and enjoy the surrounding woods. We saw deer roaming everyday. Its in a very nice secluded location. We were staying due to construction happening at our home, but this place felt like a vacation.“

„This is a beautiful place to stay in, large rooms loved the open kitchen adjoining the living area. Me and my husband and my daughter and son in law stayed here for a weekend. We were in town for my granddaughters Volleyball games, and we were an easy 7 min drive from the event venue. We had lunch across the street from the townhouse at the Silos and later that evening went back for live music. We would stary again and Dane was a great host! „Doris' Cottage is definitely charming in a convenient location and on a quiet street. Everything was very clean, very well decorated and very welcoming. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the linens were very nice. The kitchen was well equipped to make it easy to prepare meals. A variety of tea and coffee was available and extremely enjoyable.
