„This house/host is a nightmare. I showed up with my family after 12+ hours in a van to an empty house. The host would not respond so I had to find hotel accommodations at the last minute for 9 people on a holiday weekend and foot the bill. Then the neighbor comes by and says the place is a mold infested scam hole and that this host has properties all over town that should be condemned. „The facility was nice. Everything else was disappointing. In these high temperatures, not having a refrigerator is embarrassing. Every other hotel I've stayed in has had a refrigerator. A microwave would also be nice. Breakfast is not offered. Coffee in the lobby is ridiculous because it's a long walk away. The pool is also far from the room. And last but not least, I was woken up by a leaf blower right outside my room door at 7a.m.. That's very disrespectful to the guest. Lots of insects ...

Obviously a lot of planning went into furnishing this home away from home for patients at either the walking distance VA hospital, or Scott & White, which is 5 minutes away. Neighbor Billy helped with the trash and recycling and answered any questions we had. It's easy to get to anywhere in Temple from this home. It was very quiet and peaceful.
