Abgelegene Hütte auf 200 Hektar mit eigenem privaten See. Entspannen Sie sich auf der großen Terrasse mit einer spektakulären Aussicht auf den See und den Wald zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit. Genießen Sie Angeln im See, Wandern die vielen Meilen von Wanderwegen, Schwimmen oder einfach nur am Strand entspannen. Der See ist mit Ruderboot und Kanu ausgestattet. Genießen Sie am Abend ein Lagerfeuer in der Feuerstelle. Perfekt für einen Familienurlaub oder ein romantisches Wochenende. Schlaf sechs mit Queen Murphy Bett im Schlafzimmer: zwei Etagenbetten; und Queen-Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer. As you descend down the drive you become absorbed into tranquility. You immediately realize that this is your chance to become one with nature. The drive opens to the cabin and pond. You spend your team surrounded by nothing but nature. It was just what we needed and we got some amazing pictures and have some phenomenal memories to take us until our next adventure. Would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed here before. Enjoyed the cabin and the beautiful lake. Kids loved swimming and fishing. Property manager was very responsive! Unfortunately, one of our family members had a allergic reaction to something inside the cabin (mold, dust?).

I think this is our fourth year in a row and we are planning on making it five. Word to the wise though, don’t leave your fresh farm stand corn on the picnic table overnight unless you want to make the raccoons happy.

We always have a great time coming here for years! I will say this year it wasn’t very clean and for the second year in a row, no propane was on hand. The property manager did bring some down though, when she brought the toilet paper we were out of as well.

The best part for us, is the solitude. The feeling of total relaxation. The only sounds, are the sounds of nature! We fished, swam, hiked, had a campfire, s’mores, stargazed (bring binoculars, unbelievable the amount of stars seen, with no light pollution here). The cabin is well furnished with anything you may need, and feels so cozy. We are already looking forward to coming back next year.

We’ve been renting this cabin for years and have stayed more times than I can count. Every time I pull into the drive, it feels like coming home, and I’m sad whenever I have to leave. It is, quite simply, the perfect getaway.

My wife and I needed a weekend to do nothing an just relax .Cabin on the Lake was just that. If we wanted to do something the property had it. If we wanted to go somewhere it was close by. Are choice was to enjoy the lake view on the front deck and go to the nothing box,

This cabin was everything my husband and I were looking for! So quiet and secluded, perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. From the moment we pulled up to the cabin, to the time we left, we were so in love with this place. It is just far enough away to be secluded, but close enough to town for groceries and activities. We enjoyed The General golf course at Eagle Ridge, which was less than 20 minutes away, Fergetaboudit winery which was about 10 minutes away, and Galena. At the cabin we loved fishing, the campfire, hiking around the property, and grilling out on the deck while watching a storm roll in. I highly recommend this cabin and even already booked again for next year :)

This was my 4th time at this place! It’s such a unique place! Private lake, beautiful surrounding! We enjoyed our weekend and we were so sad we had to leave the place! The check in process was very smooth, the cabin was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. We really enjoyed watching the stars at night, and the peacefulness of the place! This property is truly a tranquil retreat and Im so grateful that they share this place. This year I decided to venture into the woods, across from cabin. Left of the cabin was easy peasy. Then I decided to go to the south west side of the cabin. Well I got lost and walked and walked. I finally came opon a farm with a girl named Amanda. She lived on Blanding. She was the sweetest thing and had me hop into her side by side and took me back to my cabin, in a down pour on muddy trails. I wanted to give her something for her trouble but she wouldnt except anything. It was an adventure for sure.

This was our third year staying here, and my 5 year old grandson’s first time. He really had a great time too. When we were getting ready to leave, he said he wanted to stay 100 more days. We look forward to coming back more each time. The fishing was great, swimming and hiking were also a hit. It’s just so relaxing here. Thank you for letting us stay!

We loved our time at the Cabin on the Lake! We fished, we hiked, we went swimming, and we had campfires every night. The cabin is in a great location—totally secluded, but close enough for a quick trip into town. I’m honestly torn in between telling everyone I know how awesome this place is versus telling absolutely no one, in hopes that it might be available for our next stay.

We loved our time at the cabin on the lake! Our kids (5 & 7) loved it as well! Private lake for fishing, boating, and swimming. Nature trails to explore. And only 20 minutes from Galena. We will definitely be back!

A perfect cabin in the woods! The lake was beautiful! It was so quiet, all you could hear were the birds and frogs. The deck was the perfect spot for morning coffee and enjoying the view. And the fire pit was perfect for s'mores! Great location and not too far from Galena if you wanted to run into town for a meal. Three Sisters in Elizabeth (15 min away) has amazing ice cream too!!

If so, what are you waiting for?? Book it now before I book it again! Fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a few days away from it all. Boating, walking the grounds; adjacent to Galena and chestnut mountain, apple donuts at the top of the hill at the orchard! Nights are quiet and serene, days the forest is alive and the air is fresh. The property owner helped us out with everything we needed.

We loved staying at the cabin and enjoyed the privacy this property offered. Our weather was perfect and we spent as much time outside as we could either paddling on the lake or hiking on the private trails. We also had a campfire one night and loved seeing the endless stars! There are numerous options close to the cabin for hiking and other activities. We spent a day shopping in Galena. Absolutely loved this beautiful and walkable town. It was very busy but afterwards we got to escape back to our cabin and returned to our state of zen. Truly a lovely experience!
