„Paul met us at the property and talked us through all the cottages features and discussed the local area. Cottage was immaculate and spotless. Very comfortable beds and a great nights sleep. If you are doing the NC500, then this is a perfect stopover and very tranquil. Would highly recommend.“

„Wir waren mit 5 Personen für 2 Wochen dort. Das Haus ist sehr groß und geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder mit WC sind vorhanden. Sehr schön ist der Wintergarten. Die Lage eignet sich gut für Wanderausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend schön, egal ob an der Küste oder im Landesinneren. Auto ist aufgrund der abgelegenen Lage notwendig. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert.“

„Wer sich von der Abgeschiedenheit der Örtlichkeit nicht abschrecken lässt, für den ist der Torran Cottage der ideale Ausgangspunkt für abenteuerliche Streifzüge in atemberaubende Küstenlandschaften. Das Landhaus ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet, allerdings ist die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ca. eine halbe Stunde entfernt.“

„An excellent little lodge for 2 down a short walk from the local village. The place was superbly equipped with everything needed for our stay. Only slight problem - the sofas and chairs were a little too low to the ground! Otherwise it was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.“

„Nice house looking out onto beautiful little beach. A lot of sheep which meant little lambs everywhere this time of year. Friendly neighbours! Tip: go to Handa (approx. 45 min. drive) for a very special hike on this remote bird island.“

A lovely place to be

"Pier Cottage in Kinlochbervie is a wonderful place to stay, particularly for families and nature lovers. The cottage is tastefully decorated with great attention to detail, creating a cozy and stylish atmosphere. Located in the charming fishing village of Kinlochbervie, it's an excellent base for exploring the natural beauty of the region. The stunning Oldshoremore Beach is easily accessible, and while there's no direct sea view, the shoreline is just a few steps away. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly via WhatsApp, and the cottage was spotless and well-maintained. During our stay, we visited Ardvreck Castle, the Smoo Cave in Durness, and hiked to Eas a' Chual Aluinn Waterfall. We also enjoyed a fantastic meal at The Old School House. Pier Cottage is an ideal spot for those looking to explore the rugged beauty of northwest Scotland. Highly recommended!"
