„This historic home is beautiful, super clean, and has tons of character. Though you stay in the same building as the owners of the home, they are incredibly respectful of your privacy. History nerds will enjoy the wealth of info David & Zach offer, if requested. I grew up in the area and will defintely be back to stay - highly recommend!“

„We had a 4-generation family gathering in June 2025 at Kemp's. Plenty of beds, seating, kitchen capacity and space to spread out. The lakeside pavilion with fire pit and dock was great for daytime and evening hanging out. The location is convenient to Houghton/Hancock and all of the Keweenaw Penninsula. „loved the cabin. the area in general was really nice. the sign makes it easily identifiable from the road. the setup inside and on the patio was perfect. negatives: I never received an email or was contacted before check in. I had to text and then call twice to get the code for the door to get in 1 hour before arrival. that was stressful while making the drive up. the bathroom could have been cleaner. hair and debris from previous renters. “

„This cabin, location and lake were the perfect antidote for an amazing relaxing vacation. The pictures do not share the wonderful size windows and views of the lake. The high point of this trip was spending lots of time on the water with the owners paddle board, kayak and canoe. I always make a point of thanking owners that allow dogs to join in on our vacation fun. THANK YOU!“

„Very relaxing stay. Fun to here foghorn go off every 2 minutes when the Lake Superior was covered with fog. Then the sun comes out and shines on the lake making diamonds on the water. Sunsets were beautiful. The house had everything we needed to have a great time. The flowers in the gardens were so pretty. Seeing majestic eagles flying over every morning. “
