The only noises were those of the birds and the creek, which were lovely. I felt that I was deep in the woods, yet the place is not very far from a grocery store and downtown. „We are a family of 6, grandparents, 2 other adults and 2 children ages 12 and 9. Everyone loved the house and dock! When we weren’t dock swimming or fishing we spent most of our time on the lovely screened in porch. We rented a pontoon boat for several days and the dock worked nicely for that too! We did not find the steps to the lake a problem whatsoever and my husband and I are 70! The fire pit was nice for s’mores.
