„Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We are so grateful we chose to stay here for our trip to Kyoto!“

„Brilliant location and close to the top spots we went to see. Quiet neighborhood by the river. Suite was large and luxurious. Lovely bouquet, complimentary wine, and confectionary on arrival. The kitchen was well equipped, with a microwave too. Washer dryer in Japanese language, but staff helped us. Easy! Concierge services were also exceptional. Excellent Michelin star restaurant reservation on the same day.“

„The staff here is outstanding! The room was cozy and romantic and the location was perfect!“

„Wonderful experience.“

„I didn't expect that it would be a whole house just for myself! The service was splendid, very polite and helpful. The house has everything you need, i.e. all the dishes. The interior is traditional and, very comfortable and nice.“

„Sehr netter Personal, geräumiges Zimmer, sehr gute Lage“

„Yes, I made simple dishes, excellent coffee, and used the refrigerator. The clean and efficient kitchen had everything I needed.“

„Beautiful, clean, and spacious property with many traditional features and nice architectural details, close to bus stops and the underground; plus shops, cafes, and food available nearby. Host is very helpful and gave a clear explanation of how things worked, what services were available, and how to get in touch. Sake bath on offer is well worth a good soak after a long couple days on your feet exploring the area. Tatami-style mats and futons for the sleeping arrangements may sound a little ...

„Amazing experience!“

„Steal of a deal for this spacious room. Hotel was spotless. Location was great as well.“

„We loved our stay at this stylish small hotel. Our corner room was spacious, with sensational views over the city, hills and Shirakawa River. The bed was firm, the shower strong and the amenities were decent for our five night stay. One of the things we liked most about the hotel was its lobby and lounge area, with picture windows taking in the river and autumn leaves and books to enjoy on a cold afternoon. It had such a calm atmosphere. Breakfast was served here (delicious and good value at ...
