They could find a single grain of sugar anywhere.We named the rooster that hangs around there Hei-Hei. We also had the gecko brothers who kept sneaking into kitchen.The pond has toads in it and they sing at night, counted 6 one night. „This place is a great - hosts are amazing people. They are intelligent, passionate, flexible, and friendly. Sunsrise view is great. Incredibly safe environment. You really feel like you have a degree of quiet separation from the bustle of Hilo that is only a short drive away. So best of both worlds. The tradeoff is that the village access does require a short drive on unpaved roads. So prepare mentally that this is a slightly more secluded location. You get a simple but thoughtfully ...

„Great Location, vary spacious house. Loved the getaway feel. Lots of room. Enjoyed the pool.Unfortunately the hot tub (one of the main reasons we booked this) did not work the entire time we stayed. I don't fault the owner nor property management though, I think things happen and its okay. The owners were very responsive and I think they got it fixed for the next guests.Thank you for your hospitality.“

„The property lists a kitchen but there is not. The is a refrigerator, plates/cups/etc and some plug in appliances, but washing dishes in a tiny bathroom sink was not ideal. There was laundry accessible and the house was very safe and comfortable during a hurricane. Just beware that if you are looking for a kitchen, there isn’t really. Otherwise the property was perfect for our stay.“

„Tolle, große Unterkunft. Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Hat alles was man braucht und mega gut ausgestattet. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft in Hilo. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 5-10 Minuten in Hilo Downtown und bei Supermärkten. Absolute Weiterempfehlung ! :)“
