„We just returned home from the most perfect week at Gwynn's cottage! We had never been to the area but chose it mainly for the water views, access to fishing, kayaking, the private beach and wanted a relaxing week and we had that and more. Literally everything you need is here -comfy beds, all the linens and fully stocked kitchen. It's an older home but has so much charm, so many thoughtful touches including a cabinet full of books, movies and puzzles, a shed with bikes, kayaks, chairs, crab ...

„My family stayed at this lovely cottage and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed there while there was a hurricane off the coast. So we did encounter some rain, and there were higher tides than normal, so we had to watch the tides to make sure we could get to and from the island when we needed to. „This is a lovely quiet property on the water. It was the best supplied property I’ve ever stayed in with food in the cupboard and fridge and bath room toiletries, even an extra toothbrush. (Good thing because I forgot mine.) There’s plenty of room to spread out and even a pool table. Highly recommended for your next trip to this wonderful little corner of the world. “

„Great stay and fantastic views. Felt like we were isolated, yet only 10 minutes from Kilmarnock. Enjoyed the great blue heron, seagulls, nuthatches and humming bird that were around the property. Large rooms and plenty of space to spread out.“

The yard is quite large which our dogs appreciated. There is no fence around the yard but it wasn’t an issue for us. We would happily stay here again. “

The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up.“
